This location still isn't better. I dined in here on Thanksgiving day and the food and reese pie was surprisingly fantastic! Food was fresh and hot, probably because they had a limited menu on Thanksgiving and there's only a couple of choices. I got lucky. Today, for Easter lunch, I dined in again. I ordered the turkey dinner, just like I did back on Thanksgiving. Except today it wasn't that great. It came lukewarm, the stuffing didn't taste right and the baby carrots were inedible. They were way over cooked, brown, shriveled and tasted like chemicals. Then, for dessert I got the Reese's pie. The crust was hard as a rock. I scooped out the inside and ate it and just left the crust. You'd think the server would've noticed these issues, but she didn’t. So I decided to make a comment about it when I paid. When I told the cashier, Brooke, about the crust being hard as a rock and inedible, she responded "Uh it comes frozen so that's why." I said I've had this pie before and it's never been like this. It shouldn't be THAT hard. She didn't say a word, just called a manager over and asked her to take the pie off of my bill. Meanwhile, I mentioned how bad the carrots were and the manager apologized but that was it. The cashier showed absolutely zero emotion regarding this and did not apologize. It seemed to me that she was upset that she had to work a holiday and didn't want to be there. She had a snotty attitude. I even said have a good Easter and she said uh yeah thanks. I was very disappointed with my experience and the cambridge location seems to have a lot of problems ranging from their employees to the food. When I pay for dining in somewhere, I expect a better experience than this! Got 2 family size chicken noodle soups to go and they were awful. Had ONE piece of chicken between the two containers. And it was a scrap piece of chicken, not white breast meat like it's supposed to be. Also, it had NO flavor! I've never been so disgusted and disappointed with food in my life.
*This location has been bad for years. Even last year, the year before, and so on, I have received bad food with both carry out and dine in. They have issues with slopping food on plates (poor presentation), burning the food (received meatloaf that was obviously very burnt - I should not have been served that), received chicken noodle soup with no chicken, or it just tastes bad. Read moreWe ordered dinner sides for a large family gathering and we were incredibly disappointed with the poor quality of the food. When my nephews arrived to pick up the order, they were told that the store was out of two of the items in our order. Our pick-up time was for 6:10 and our order was placed several hours prior to our scheduled pick-up. Unfortunately, no one called us to inform us about the missing items. Instead, they waited until we arrived to let us know that they could replace the items with something different. Due to their poor communication and poor time management of this restaurant, my nephews didn’t receive the entire order until 6:45pm. The food we received was supposed to be warm, but it was ice cold. The pumpkin bread and rolls were absolutely disgusting, inedible and hard as a rock. My aunt called the store (twice) after receiving the order and she spoke to a woman named Andrea. On one occasion Andrea said that the manager wasn’t available, but that she would leave a note and text the manager regarding the horrible food and stale bread. No one returned my aunt’s call. So, the next day, my aunt called the store again and, once again, she spoke to Andrea who said the manager wasn’t available. The quality of food and food service at this location has greatly declined over the past few years. Trying to support our local businesses, we placed this order in good faith. However, paying for food that we couldn’t even eat or serve to people is completely wasteful and unacceptable. We will no longer patronize this location, nor will any of our guests who were in attendance and experienced the inedible joke...
Read moreCalled to place an order at 1:35 p.m when my call was answered, I was asked to hold. I waited 10 minutes. Decided to hang up. Thinking they may be busy. Called again at 1:45. They answered asking me to hold. Again another 10 minutes. I was wanting to place an order so that I could pick order up shortly after work. Waited 5 minutes and called again, the same lady answered, very rude and short with me and told me it's going to be a 30 minute wait. All I wanted was a family size order of biscuits and gravy. The lady was not pleasant. She acted like I was bothering her. I worked at Bob Evans before. Customers come first. They are the reason you have a job, not to mention, you should always have respect for your customers. I can't believe how people are these days. I have called before and got there and had to wait at least 20 minutes for my order although I called ahead at least 30 minutes. This restaurant has really went down hill. I believe you should remind your employees that cell phones need put away and the customers are the reason you have a job. I called on 7/9/25 at 1:35. This lady should Not be working with...
