I'm extremely disappointed by this particular restaurant. I've been to the Zanesville and Caldwell locations and the food was fresh and hot. You'd think how bad could THIS location could be, right? Hah, baaadddd. We went yesterday on 10/30. Let me say, the cupfection and blizzard were just fine, but our food was terrible. We decided to eat inside. First off, my cheeseburger was barely warm. The cheese wasn't even melted! The bun wasn't fresh. At other DQ locations my burgers have always been super hot and you could tell it was just made. This one....I feel like it's all just been sitting there and when someone wants a burger, even if it's hours later, they make it from that. There's no way it was just made. Then, my son's chicken basket was a disappointment. The chicken was also barely warm and tough to chew. The toast was blah, but both of our fries were hot and fresh. The ranch he had for dip tasted extremely strange. It left a weird taste in my mouth afterwards. His "basket" wasn't even a basket. They just give it to you all tosseled together in a cardboard box. I will never ever get food at this location again. Ice cream, yeah, maybe. I'm also emailing corporate to let them know how bad this particular restaurant is. I highly recommend eating somewhere else and just coming here for the ice cream. I just wasted my hard earned money on bad food. The 2 stars is for the ice cream and the fries being hot and fresh. Honestly, in my opinion, this place needs shut down and replaced with a Chick-fil-A, a restaurant that has A+ food. I read their reviews and most of them are bad ones complaining about the same issues as me. So they could fix it if they wanted, it seems the higher...
Read moreEdit: They were generous and sent us coupons in the mail. I haven't got the chance to go back yet but hope they are able to make some change in the restaurant with staff and training.
Edit: Okay Dairy Queen in Cambridge, this is the 2nd time you guys have messed up my Georgia Mud Fudge. Send in corporate members to get off their butts and help in restaurants. A Georgia Mud-fudge is made with chocolate ice cream, brownies, pecans, and chocolate bits and like a chocolate syrup on the side of the cup. They also messed up the food order, and I get they are understaffed, so corporate or the owners need to get their restaurant in order.
I have always had some difficulties with this Dairy Queen in making orders. But they messed up both our blizzards today and didn’t offer to make us new ones. I ordered a Georgia Mud Fudge which I realize is an off menu item but specifically asked for chocolate ice cream and it was made with vanilla and they put Carmel in it when fudge is in the name of it. Then our other one was the chocolate brownie extreme I believe is the name and also made with vanilla but any other place it’s been order at they make it with chocolate. Pretty disappointed and I know working through drive through a can be stressful and that places are understaffed but there was no pep in their talk either. Just think the customer service could be...
Read moreI keep trying to stay positive about this Dairy Queen but it continually disappoints and I couldn’t find my old review to update it. I worked fast food so I understand being understaffed but hire people at better wages and you will get people to work. Our orders have been messed up countless times, didn’t even order last time because they said to wait and we waited 20 minutes in the drive through and the person behind honked at us like it was our fault, and today the ice cream machine is down which is the whole point of Dairy Queen.
I hope this review as well as others gives a sign that the owners/management need to step in because I would be embarrassed at this point. Do better for your restaurant and your employees so they don’t have to deal with rude people, I can only imagine what they go through if our ordering process has been this bad. Like when things go wrong they have to take the heat for managements issues and that’s not...
