i worked here for a year and a half, probably longer. called into work one time when i was very sick. always made sure i had someone to cover my shifts and took time off earlier so it didn’t cause complications. One day i had someone working my shift because something had came up. i went in that day to get my paycheck quick before i left town and the manager Eric Lang, wanted to talk to me. i was fine with it because i loved everyone i worked with, he told me i needed to come into work that night because the other person couldn’t work for me anymore. i was shocked because i knew i couldn’t work and i had someone to work for me. i told him that i couldn’t and explained to him why. he said “ i hope your not going to make me work a double shift”. first off no one is making you do anything. regardless i told him i couldn’t and he gave me an ultimatum. “ if come into work, i can keep my job. if i don’t come in then i will be fired” i obviously didn’t go into work so i walked out that restaurant fired. this was not fair in anyway. and now he’s hiring little 14yr olds who just wanted money and that place is falling apart and he never appreciated my work ethics and how i was willing to do anything to cover other peoples shifts and working extra hours when they were short people. However the last two times we have eaten here, the customer service has been poor and the condition of the restaurant itself has been less than stellar. It wasn’t any busier than usual tonight and yet it took more than 10 minutes to get our order. Usually we have it within 5 minutes of sitting down. The condiment station was messy. The men’s room was filthy. The trash bins were completely full, making it difficult to empty our tray. No one ever stopped to ask us how our meal was or if they could get us anything else. I understand that this is a rarity at fast food restaurants, but this is one thing that has always set this restaurant/location apart from other places for us. We have always had a positive experience here which is why tonight’s visit was so disappointing. To top it off we bought 4 pints of custard to go. Two of the pints weren’t even full. Not sure if this place is under new ownership/management, but whatever the problem is, they better figure it out. We won’t be back...
Read moreI purchased Culvers Chicken "Tenders" yesterday for the first time. I would describe them more accurately as Chicken CARDBOARD. I can't believe I spent $7.65 on 4 small, thin dried up bits of what Culvers calls chicken tenders! They were hard, dry, no flavor, thin and almost as much breading as chicken. Almost $8 for 4 of these, the other 2 I washed down with milk last night were sized between the 2 pictured. The price I paid did not include a drink or fries with these tenders. Huge disappointment! Do not waste your money, there is a much better chicken tender franchises that I would consider worth the drive before ever buying these again. It looks like the neighbors dogs are getting a treat later. I took pictures but don't see an option to add them. Pieces were 4.5 to 3 inches in length. When cut in half at the thickest point measuring a half an inch thick with one quarter of an inch of that being...
