I was excited to try Jamie's. After having passed by their wall-up window Brookline location, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Cambridge location has a good amount of seating (~ 12 seats indoors and 8 seats outdoors). The interior is brightly lit and nicely decorated. There were so many flavors we wanted to try, so of course we had to get the flight with 6 flavors for $15. It's not the cheapest, but I think it's worth it to get to try so many things (without having an overwhelming amount of any one thing). I really loved the sorbets! We tried the passionfruit mango margarita sorbet (summer special), which was delightfully tart and had a lovely passion fruit flavor. The strawberry limeade was also so good, as was the lemon sorbet. I would get all of those again. They weren't too sweet, the texture was good, and the flavors were unique. We also tried the mint chip, which I thought was quite good. My husband absolutely loved the lemon poppyseed loaf flavor. We also got the "dump him" flavor which we thought was too sweet (but I love the M&Ms!). Overall, we'll definitely be back. I can't resist a good sorbet, and I honestly haven't had any good sorbets at ice cream shops in the area.

EDIT: re-reviewed after 3 weeks. Bought pistachio again and the texture is marginally better but still crumbly and now a bit milky. Not a creamy mouthfeel. My companion got a different flavor (Dump Him) and liked it less than my pistachio. This place just opened, so I know they're still figuring things out, but the ice cream needs work. I had pistachio and although the taste was good, it was fluffy and not creamy. My mouth started to be coated in fat. I believe this means the base was overchurned. The staff wasn't familiar with which flavors were gluten-free, but thankfully they were marked on the menu. There also didn't seem to be a clear allergy protocol in place.

Wow, that homemade waffle cone is delicious! If it was warm, it would be chefs. Kiss! We love the flavor profile of our cold brew and minty chip. However, I do agree with the previous reviewer about the texture of the ice cream. It was somewhat crumbly and had small pieces falling off our cone as it wasn’t densely packed. One other minute detail is that the minty chip is green in color. For a place that does ice cream from scratch, I hope that there are no other additives such as food coloring. On a side note, We also got the chocolate chip cookie which was delicious!!

Wow, just wow! I had the most incredible experience at Jamie's. Everything about this place is perfect.

First off, the coffee: rich, flavorful, and brewed to absolute perfection. You can tell they put real care into every cup, and it’s easily some of the best I’ve ever had.

The ice cream was unbelievable—creamy, dreamy, and bursting with flavor. It’s not just an add-on; it’s a must-try!

The people here are what make the place truly special. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to share their love for what they do. You feel like part of the family from the moment you step in.

And the ambiance? Whether you're here to work, catch up with a friend, or just relax, the vibe is perfect. The cozy, great lighting and soft background music all come together to create a little...

This place is so great! Perfect for the neighborhood and so cozy inside it makes ice cream in the winter feel like the perfect idea. The ice cream is all made in house and is just delicious. The strawberries and cream in the homemade waffle cone- chef’s kiss. The staff could not have been nicer. Can’t wait to come back. Love supporting a great local small business!

(Also for the one star review folks, it seems you all showed up at the eleventh hour for 5 cent ice cream scoops on their opening day and they had run out and you leave a one star review? Maybe consider the time and energy that went into bringing this small business to your neighborhood? It probably took years. You missed out on your free ice cream scoop and so you attack the business on its opening...
