I find myself compelled to share my less than satisfactory experiences at this restaurant, as it seems to be developing into a pattern.
During my most recent visit, I encountered an issue with billing where I was charged an extra amount for the Goat Biryani I ordered. When I pointed out the discrepancy between the online price of $15.99 and what I was charged, $17.99, the manager seemed taken aback, though it's unclear if this was genuine surprise or not.
This incident leaves me with lingering doubts regarding the integrity of the management. It seems ambiguous whether this is an isolated issue with the manager or a broader issue involving the entire management team. I can't shake off the feeling of dishonesty that clouded this visit, and unfortunately, it's not an isolated event.
In these times of heightened awareness due to the coronavirus pandemic, I also observed a lack of sanitary practices amongst the kitchen staff, which only adds to my concerns. During a previous visit, I had an unsatisfactory experience where my meal was excessively salty, and the response from the management was far from accommodating. Despite their mistake, there seemed to be no urgency to rectify the issue, and I was simply asked to return the next day.
Given these recurring issues, I am seriously contemplating whether I should escalate this matter to a relevant authority to investigate the establishment's practices further. At this point, I find it hard to justify returning to the restaurant, as trust and safety should be paramount, and I fear these have been compromised.
I hope that by sharing my experience, potential patrons will be better informed and that the management might take steps to improve the overall quality and integrity of their...
Read moreSorry but this places is pretty average at best. The people are nice and friendly and I want to give them full props but the food here plain sucks.
They call themselves a kebab factory so I’ll comment on their kebabs … these are not kebabs … they are chunks (looks like straight out of a pack in the grocery store) of meat simply cooked in an oven with a seasoning that’s nothing to write home about. The meat tastes / feels like it’s been pre-cooked (seemed steamed to me) and then lightly charred in a Tandoor. Some low temp areas inside the chunks lead me to think they were cooked - refrigerated - then heated up in the tandoor. The seekh kabab was a disaster … seems to me like frozen stuff reheated and that too incompletely where you can feel the chilled sections when you bite into them.
The bread is another disaster … let’s just say the menu names are not what you actually get. The words roti, paratha, naan, romali, etc etc actually have different meanings. Does the flexible roti turn into a crisp biscuit after cooling down for 60 seconds? Yes!
Last but not least, significantly overpriced, for the quality. They do have large portions but I can’t see their food surviving a fridge and microwave … that’s if I can bring myself to call it edible in the...
Read moreWe ordered 2 kabab meals and an order of garlic naan. We ordered through Uber Eats, and the delivery was within the allotted time. But, when we opened the order the meals were not there. There was a container of rice, a container of sauce (not sure what that was for) the garlic naan and a container with a few pieces of lettuce, a couple cucumbers and a few pieces of red onion. When I called the restaurant they initially apologized and said our food was there and that they had tried to call the Uber driver, but he didn’t answer. They said they would send it right out with their delivery driver and we should get it in 20 minutes. It has now been an hour and 15 minutes since I called the restaurant and we have yet to see our food. I gave the restaurant my phone number so the driver could call me when he got here so I could come out to get the food. I have called the restaurant 5-6 times beginning when it had been 35 minutes and they have yet to answer. It is now 9:34 pm and they close at 10 pm. I have to assume they are not bringing us any food. And at this point, if they did, it would surely be stone cold. Needless to say, I will not eat (or try to eat) at this...
