I saw the hours-long line for the grand opening and noped out, and was relieved to see a much shorter line this weekend. There were quite a number of people waiting for their ice cream, since the mochi ice creams are fairly labor intensive. We ended up waiting 22 minutes for our ice cream.

Happy to report that it's absolutely delicious! I loved the matcha -- the soft serve was perfect in texture and flavor, and the mochi was fresh and stretchy. The mango was also good, but the matcha was definitely my favorite. My friends who got the milk tea mochi ice cream said the boba quality wasn't great but they still enjoyed it.

I'm not sure how I feel about the pipettes...they caused a few messy accidents amongst my friends -- the tip gets frozen in the ice cream then can cause explosions when you try to squeeze it out. I would be fine not having this part.

The price is reasonable considering the effort that goes into making the dessert. I'd...

I went to get ice cream this afternoon. There were a lot of people in line, and I waited about an hour and a half — but that wasn’t the issue. The problem was that the staff started making orders for people who ordered after me first.

When I finished my sesame ice cream and waited on the side, I noticed that the person making the mochi ice cream stacked all the cups together and started from the bottom. While I was watching and listening to the order numbers being called, I saw that many people who ordered after me got their mochi ice cream before I did. Because of this, I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for my order.

The ice cream itself was delicious, but I thought that for the same item, people who ordered earlier should get...

If it seems a little pricey for one large mochi, it's because they're making it in front of you. It's fun to watch. Mochi was a great texture and very fresh tasting. Black sesame soft serve was delicious, and it was served with coarse sugar and a pipette of toasted sesame oil. Mango mochi ice cream was served with coconut flakes, rice krispies, and a pipette of coconut cream. The mango flavor tasted slightly artificial. Milk tea mochi ice cream was served with strawberries and a pipette of brown sugar syrup. The milk tea flavor was light and pleasant. All in all a...
