I don't know how hubby finds these places, but he wins again for finding this spot. We stopped in here after cruising on a paddle boat so hubby could enjoy a nice meal. We didn't notice parking nearby till later, but parked around the corner from the spot.

We came and waited to be seated, but the young lady advised us to sit anywhere. I quickly excused myself to find the restroom. I truly appreciated to find the restrooms were gender neutral friendly. Upon my return hubby ordered me the pretzel amd then ordered the brisket which came with two sides( collards and fries).

The pretzel was served first, and it was served very hot amd fresh. The cheese sauce was a nice touch. While waiting I got to see this place has been rewarded for several years in a row, "the best." I can definitely see and taste why!!! I got to taste a bit of hubby's food, and can say we will definitely be back and bring friends and family. I know inflation is hitting everything, but the portion size could have been more fitting. The brisket was cooked to perfection and no sauce was needed.

The servers were amazing and super sweet and kind. They truly know how to make guests feel welcome from beginning to end.

My first and last time . I heard so much about this place thought I should try it out. I live a hour a way and said why not. Well was very disappointed besides the prices for small portions for an adult not enough 😕 We came in and I asked if they could wipe down the table we were going to sit in because it felt as if there was sand on the table and the chairs. I don't think the owner liked that. Her face said it all....well time to order.....I asked for the extreme Mac and cheese sandwich which you get to pick meats to go in the sandwich. They put more Mac and cheese then meat , my daughter got the brisket with side of fries and the meat was so small and the fires looked as if they had them there and just warmed them up over again. Then for the drinks we got just water and tap water well not that great but they charged 1$ for the waters. I mean I've gone to other restaurants and they never charged for the tap waters, I mean if it was a bottle of water I understand but it wasn't 🤷. So disappointed . Wish it was a...

Y’all, hidden gem of Maryland 🤩. We have been traveling all over the south and eastern border. We happened upon this place after a Harriet Tubman tour. We honestly weren’t expecting much from a small place and hoped the reviews did it justice as we have found out all too many times the reviews let us down. THEY WERE NOT WRONG!!! THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!!!! Our waitress was only on her second day but was super attentive. I ordered the brisket tacos, my husband got the slaw dog, and my kids ate Mac n cheese. Let me tell you. These tacos were great! The sausage is housemade as was everything else. My kids rarely eat all their Mac n cheese (they devoured this!).
