Everything my friend and I had here was very mid, ranging from the soup to the curry, especially since we ordered four of the most staple kinds within the Thai cuisine realm. There's a positive aspect which was that they gave an abundant amount of food, as the pictures could show how much they stuffed their bowls and containers with meat and vegetables. But in terms of taste and everything else, it was okay.

I had a massaman curry and it didn't feel like the curry flavor had meshed with the carrots, onion pieces, and sweet potato bits included, on top of the fact that the beef was very hard to chew and dry, even with curry on it. My friend had the red curry and didn't really comment beyond saying that she wouldn't bring others back here in the future, so I guessed that she wasn't satisfied with her food. We shared the soups together, and I was overall pretty happy with the tom yum soup, especially since I had them lower the spice level, so visually it looked clear, but the taste was still there, which I enjoyed. The tom kar kai soup didn't seem to have enough coconut cream to regulate the taste, because I couldn't identify the cream aspect of it.

So, yeah, if one finds it convenient to stop by for a quick bite, I say go for it. I wouldn't, however, recommend people to go out of their way to try this establishment as a result of my...

So I really liked my Drunken Noodles and my Green Curry. They were both delicious. I totally forgot pictures. It is a smaller establishment, about 6 tables. My food came out so quickly I was shocked, but I think it was because they were coming off of the initial dinner rush. I would recommend it. It was a bit dark in there for my liking regarding ambiance, but the food makes it worth the trip. I would suggest getting a few dishes to try to go. If you are a big eater like me, the portion sizes are fine and normal, so you might want to get a side dish or another dish like I did. Just note, parking does not exist on this street so you will likely have to walk over. UPDATE: Last week I ordered from them again, last month and a dish that was not supposed to be spicy was. I still though the food was fine. I went to order again later online and found out that every time they left rice off my order and I didn't know! The menu they gave me must have been older when I went in to order, because online it lists rice should come with everything and I did not get the rice! So moral of the story, check their online presence too to make sure you are getting everything...

As far as Thai cuisine goes, this is a well-acclaimed choice in the area, so I had been eagerly hoping to try it for some time. When we arrived to pick up our takeout, I was very impressed by the interior of the restaurant. While it's not a very big space, there are plenty of tables (and there would have been availability if we had chosen to dine in on that weekday night). The décor gave off a lovely ambiance that felt both authentic and modern. The employees were also quite pleasant and helpful.

We got the potato puffs as an appetizer, which were nice to try one time, and I sprung for drunken noodles with tofu. Given that it was already vegetarian, I was hoping for more vegetables in the mix, but as you can see from the picture, the splashes of color (green beans and bell peppers) are pretty sparse. I actually wanted the medium spice level but got mild - I'm not sure if it was user error or a mistake on their part, but I definitely wish the spiciness was kicked up a notch. The portion for the entrée wasn't a ton of food, but the taste of what was there was quite...

Best. Pad. Thai. In. Boston. I had low expectations going in. The place was a little old and outdated ambience-wise. But I was thoroughly surprised by the food. This will be my go-to spot for Shrimp Pad Thai in boston. The shrimp were nice and succulent. So perfectly cooked that it melted in your mouth. The pad Thai was incredibly flavorful and juicy with the noodles cooked perfectly (springy yet soft). We also ordered a beef massaman curry and chicken pineapple fried rice. The massaman was good, but portion size was just a little small and the chunks of beef were slightly over done. The pineapple fried rice was average like any other place. Service was great. Our server was attentive and even stayed after hours a bit. Very affordable too! Only place in Cambridge / Boston area that I’ve been able to get 3 entrees meals for less than $40 dollars.
