Step right up to this Mexican joint, folks! It's a well-oiled machine, clean as a whistle, and it'll leave you wondering how something so disappointingly average can exist. Having ventured many times through the sunny lands of Southern California and Mexico itself, this little Northeast gem falls right into the category of unremarkable. But cry not, for in the great city of Boston, there are far superior options to satisfy your taco cravings.
Now, let me regale you with tales of the one shining star in this culinary constellation: the chorizo. Oh, it's a thing of beauty, my friends! Oily, fatty, and seasoned to perfection. It's the kind of dish that's hard to screw up, and they nailed it. A solid winner amidst a sea of culinary mediocrity.
But alas, dear reader, my tale takes a somber turn from here on out. Picture, if you will, tortillas plucked straight from the Sysco rack—dry and devoid of flavor. If I were told they were gluten-free, I'd have believed it without a second thought. These tortillas were so thick that using two of them became excessive, bordering on criminal, as they detracted from the true taco experience.
And now, prepare yourself for the abomination they dared to call "carne asada." Behold the pictures, my good friends, and witness the aftermath of a beef massacre. It's as if they gathered all the beef scraps left behind after the carving of prime cuts, threw them into a food chopper, and called it a day. Underseasoned, devoid of flavor, and strangely textured, it was a sad excuse for a dish.
As for the pollo, ah, the classic dry and stringy chicken, expertly overcooked to the point of desolation. To salvage this flavorless catastrophe, they drenched it in oil and spices, desperately hoping to rescue it from its own dismal fate.

It gets very busy so be ready with what you want to order before you get into the actual line as it moves quickly. Seating is available. Location: Easy walk from Lynch family Skatepark, the Museum of Science and North Point Park. Parking: Street parking is available. There is also a small lot by the skatepark that has cheap parking. Recommendations: We tried the Torta Adobo and the Burro De La Casa Adobado and we were both very happy with our choices. In fact - this became my friend's new favorite Mexican place! Would recommend if you like Mexican and are...
Read moreOne of the best places for tortas and Mexican bowls in Cambridge.
After trying some tortas from Tenoch a couple months ago, they quickly became one of my favorite Mexican food options for lunch. The simple combination of warm and crispy tortas, tender meat, and melted cheese was extremley addictive, and torta adobada and torta asada were some of my favorites. I also recently tried one of their plates with asada, and it was one of the best Mexican bowls I've had in a while. All the toppings were made with fresh ingredients, and even without any special toppings, the bowl was very flavorful and well-balanced. Will definitely be back to try more of their plates with...
