This is a large, full-service Starbucks smack in the middle of the Rutgers student center. It has a wide array of food items and all of the drink items you would find in a normal, corporate Starbucks. The staff of mostly Rutgers students is extremely friendly and welcoming. They try their best, but many of them are in training, so sometimes they make a mistake, but they will always fix it and sometimes even give you a free drink. Lines can get extremely long at certain very specific times during the school year (in between Rutgers classes), but most of the time there is no line at all. Hours are limited in the summer and during school vacations. Not all Starbucks corporate promotions are honored here. There were actual hundreds of fruit flies swarming the store, especially the station where they make blended drinks. There was a literal cloud of them by the black stools and the wall next to it had hundreds resting on the paneling. The espresso area was no better. Their rinse sink for pitchers was coated in a thick brown film down the sides and even up to the lip, edging up onto the counter. To elaborate the pumpkin chai is supposed to come with pumpkin cream foam .. they don’t put it on unless they charge you for it .. and on top of that they give you the wrong type of foam or syrup in the drink.
