When my husband gets his hair cut next door, I head over to Teaspoon for a drink.
Today's visit will be my last because of Ilene.
My husband finished his hair cut next door and came over looking for me. I mentioned that his haircut was quicker than my drink. He waited with me for five more minutes. If a haircut is done before a drink at Teaspoon is done, that speaks for itself. I asked Ilene about my drink because three customers who came after me received their drinks. She was rude. Yeah, you're busy, but there was no excuse for you to snap and give attitude. Ilene needs to get out of customer service if she's going to snap when customers follow up on their order. Recognize that you messed up, apologize, own it, do whatever it is you need to do, and rectify the mistake. If you're going to act like an a-hole, then you need to do something else with your life. I noticed Ilene giving the lady ahead of me an attitude because she asked about a mango drink, so I ordered from the kiosk. If she hates her job, she needs to leave because she is the reason this business is losing customers. Do better, Ilene.

Read moreThis is the 3 rd time my wife had an issue with the service here. This time I came in with her and the kids. Empty with just one worker in the back. She looked at us and looked away. Didn’t bother to say hi welcome etc. I noticed a self serve kiosk. We waited assuming she would come ask us something but no. Then I walked. Loser and asked her if I should order from kiosk and if that is easier for her. She walked in the back saying yet order from there. So we started an order. She never came back to the front. Was sweeping or mopping. It wa 8:30. Tuesday 08/27 just close at 8:00!!
The last two times my wife came she said others got there drink before her. She had to wait over 15 minutes for a drink. And she gave a tip which I don’t understand. Another time they messed up in the order giving her a milk tea instead of Thai iced. It was someone else’s. She gave the Thai ice tea to a friend who worked nearby.. you should check your staff- they might want this place to closed down. No other reason for such horrible service. Fire them.. it would do them a favor and you Long blind hair 2 braids was the main one tonight. Hate to sound harsh but this is the 3rd incident.

I've been a loyal customer of various Teaspoon locations and other boba shops in this area (including Teaspoon Folsom), and I've always had pleasant experiences – until now. The customer service was atrocious. When I dared to question the quality of my drink, the staff became argumentative and frankly, quite rude. It was baffling. I had simply asked why my "light ice" order was practically filled to the brim, leaving barely any room for the actual drink. And to add insult to injury, even with all that ice, the liquid level was still noticeably low (see photo of unopened drink after I let half of the ice melt)! It felt like a complete rip-off. The fact that this happened at a Teaspoon location, considering my positive experiences elsewhere, just makes it even more infuriating. This isn't the standard I've come to expect.
