Adagio for Hair — Local services in Cameron Park

I recently visited the salon to receive a Fusio Dose treatment and toner for my hair. I specifically requested not to have my hair styled or blow-dried, as I find that these processes can leave my hair feeling damaged. Despite this, I was surprised to find that the staff did not even towel-dry my hair, instead opting to wrap it in a small towel, leaving it dripping wet as I left the establishment.

Following this experience, I returned to the salon to indulge in an Adagio Signature Facial. In the past, I have had the Express Facial at this location and was thoroughly impressed with the results. The aesthetician utilized a variety of treatments including a peel, red light therapy, and suction, along with performing extractions. Although the aesthetician was nice and friendly and was putting her efforts, and I appreciated their efforts, the Signature Facial did not live up to the high standards set by the Express Facial I had previously experienced.

Not worth the price. They did an alright job, but I think paying nearly $300 for a mediocre half head balayage is a bit ridiculous and not the amount of money I like to spend lightly. To top it off the stylist did not even know how to do a blow out. During the initial consultation, we discussed that I would like my balayage to come up further than the ends, however the final result was just the ends with a money piece in the front, when I spoke up about how I wished the color came up further, she advised me to book another service. Highly recommend. I love the ability to book online. I really appreciate the early 8am and the late 6pm appts for us FT Mon-Fri workers. Sammy cut my hair, it wasn't quite right but I called within the 2 week period and got it fixed without an additional charge. It was Sammy's first time cutting my hair so not her fault at all, my hair is deceptively thick and has a funky wave to it. I absolutely love how it turned out and will definitely go back to Sammy.
