First time visit. Ordered a lasagna, and to try their pizza while I waited, two slices of cheese pie (pizza). It's never fair to assess a pizza based on eat in individual slices, as it is oven reheated. Though that said, it was still plenty good. Typical pizzeria pizza as far as thickness, the sauce was good, just enough sweetness and enough wetness. It was far from bland, though I prefer mine with a little more garlic and oregano. The rim crust was a little crispy/dry, but again, I had the eat in individual portion. I could tell if I had ordered a whole pie, it wouldn't have been as crispy and would have been a nice chewy rim crust. The guys there were polite, professional but busy, so not much for conversation, but it's a pizzeria not a social event. Now to the lasagna. It was really good, nearly great. It was the precise style that I prefer. I was glad to taste and see ricotta being used, vice some absurd replacement of say cottage cheese. It came accompanied with two slices of a nice chewy french/Italian bread and a sizeable salad. I was pleased to find they offer honey mustard dressing, which was a nice thick dressing with just enough mustard tanginess and sweetness. Overall, a nice visit and I'll surely order from here again, when I want a no frills (fru fru)...

Generally, food here is good and reasonably priced.
Loss of stars is due to several reasons. First, the restaurant is in need of a serious makeover. The benches are way overdue for reupholstering. Second, the dining area is always very cold, even away from the door. We mentioned this to a cashier and she says it's so cold that she stands near the griddle to stay comfortable. Finally, we ate in on 2/8/2025. Wife ordered a chicken tender sub. After the first bite she noticed that the chicken tenders were underdone. It turned her stomach and she didn't want to eat anymore. When we were leaving, we brought the intact sub (less one bite) to the counter. The taller gentleman pulled out a tender from the sandwich, broke it apart, and said "yeah, it's not cooked right." Did not offer to refund our money or make something else but had words of wisdom stating "we will make it correctly the next time." Poor...
Read moreOrdered a couple of pizzas and some wings for delivery on a Friday night. Have been checking out different pizza spots in the same general area as Robertos. Reviews seemed pretty decent so I figured I would give it a shot. I was duped. Overpriced and overcooked.
Order & Cost: Two large pizzas + two orders of wings + delivery and tip = $90 I could have ordered from a competitor in the area for half the cost. Delivery was quick and timely but since they use DoorDash, the pizza was cold.
Food Review: One pizza was very overcooked and tasteless. Like hard as a rock. I do not recommend their sausage. The chicken was 10X better than the sausage. Also not a huge fan of their pizza sauce. I would not consider it a traditional sauce recipe but unsure of how to explain the flavor. The wings I ordered were pretty overcooked and overpriced. They were tough and the bones were splitting into slivers. Wing prices have significantly fallen throughout the food industry. Why are these restaurants still charging 'wing shortage' prices?
I do not plan to order from Roberto's again. Don't be fooled by the higher star reviews. Papa John's makes a better pizza and I don't even like...
