Starbucks — Restaurant in Camp Hill

UPDATE! they got a whole remodel so it looks super fresh and new in here now. definitely a lighter, more airy vibe. Now there are 8 two-top tables inside, patio tables are still the same. Super bright with wrap around windows on two sides. This is my local sbux, the one i go to most frequently, on the way to work -- the light is amazing in the morning, the baristas are all very friendly - it is honestly one of the fastest service sbux i have been to, their mobile order system (in the store, they set cups next to the letters of the alphabet to make it easy to find your cup) is fantastic -- plenty of seating for getting work done or have a meeting -- not super loud but loud enough for that background-noise privacy and/or coffee shop deep work flow state. outdoor seating available on the patio -- though it's at the cross section of two fairly busy roads, so road noise/smell can be an issue outside. Big windows so the light gets in and makes the vibe inside fantastic. two gender neutral restrooms available with no entry code required. the place always seems to be hopping, but service is so fast, it never feels overly busy -- the only slightly negative thing i can think of has nothing to do with the sbux, but instead the clothing store located next to it -- because the sbux is so busy, everyone was taking the clothing store's parking spots -- so as a result, the clothing store labeled almost every parking spot on the south side with their name, so parking feels sparse -- but there are plenty of spots on the east side of the building, and even more on the northwest side (plus you get a nice little outdoor walk since you have to park a little further away -- silver linings and all). my favorite drink is super basic, grande quad americano (normally a grande americano has 3 shots of espresso, so the "quad" adds an additional shot) --- the cost of that drink at time of writing is just under $5. definitely recommend ordering ahead on the app to make your experience as quick and frictionless as possible, but expect the baristas to still greet you -- like i said...

i haven’t been to this location in a while, i ordered a regular white mocha, the person waiting clearly had no interest in customer relationship, didn’t even smile, didn’t ask for my name, had to tell her. she didn’t ask if I was interested in a pastry , etc. when I went to pay, she perked up and stated don’t forget to tip us on the payment machine. I said excuse me, in the 1-2 minutes I was placing my order, you said nothing, took my order with zero interaction, and at the end of the transaction asked me to tip?? i didn’t tip, then I sat down waiting for my order, 45 minutes later, btw there were 4 people in the location, it was past the morning rush of mobile orders, etc, even the rest of the staff behind the counter were saying they had nothing to do, there I am waiting 45 minutes for my order. at the 45 minute mark, I asked where my order was, oh the barista went on break for 30 minutes and she is late getting back from break. really no one else can make a white mocha. starbucks corporate should really oversee how lack a work ethic this location has when one person goes on break and the rest of the staff stand around texting on...

Now I have to say I only ever get a venti mocha frappe with four shots of espresso I used to drink a lot of them a day but I have cut down to one a day lol. But if I cannot get coffee from one of my favorite places Starbucks is my runner-up I have to say they're both equally great to me so I want to get this a great review because I love their espresso I love their drinks they never get them wrong when I order them and I do have a problem with that at the other place I go to But Starbucks is never done me wrong.
