I go to this location rather frequently. It seems like the quality of this location is beginning to suffer. Today I was the only person in line but had to wait a couple of minutes while the counter person took some drive-thru orders. The priority seems to be the drive-thru. My order included iced tea which when received I hoped to drink some and add lemonade...an Arnold Palmer. This location only has iced tea behind the counter so it is not self serve...an inconvenience. Normally you would receive your drink immediately when placing your order, however the employee did not give me my drink because she was too busy doing drive-thrus to stop and get my iced tea from her station behind the counter. So I couldn't get my lemonade either. When I finally received my meal they did not give me my drink. I had to specifically ask for it. When I did finally receive my iced tea and went to the drink dispenser to put in my lemonade I discovered that the lemonade was not available, either at the self-serve or behind the counter. All of this is petty stuff but it all adds up to poor management or poor service and I think I can do better at other Jack in the...
Read morePosting from my fiancés account since I already left a review. Spoiler: the service is just as bad.
Honestly not gonna bother writing much since based on the other reviews here management does not care much about customer feedback. I have been refusing to go here since my last bad experience, but my fiancé talked me into it since they’re so close to our house. I got a small’s worth of fries when I paid for a large, had to pay for more than one ranch even though we bought two meals and a side of fries (I think the employees here just make up new rules about the sauce for every order because it’s never the same), and the worker was so freaking rude. So rude. Barking our order at us, slamming the window, ignoring us when we offered to pay for 2 extra sauces. As a gay couple, we get this treatment from certain places. Maybe the staff member saw us holding hands and that’s why he was so rude? Based on the other comments though, it seems this is an average experience.
Happened about 11:30 on Thursday March 20.
TLDR, terrible experience across the board. Even if it’s convenient, it’s not worth it....
Read moreThis is one of several locations that counterintuitively chooses to clean their milkshake machine between midnight - 2am... Peak time for drungry bar-flies and stoners looking for their munchie-fix, as well as people coming from other locations that sometimes close a few minutes before they are supposed to. This means they can't make milkshakes during a time when demand for milkshakes is high. It makes no sense. Why not clean the machine at like 5 or 6am when business is slow and people are less likely to order shakes??? The worst part is last time they didn't even tell us their machine was down until after we ordered and pulled up to the window.
Being open 24 hours is this location's saving grace, especially when other nearby locations on Campbell and Prospect are constantly changing their hours. It's also super convenient if you're staying at the Larkspur and don't feel like ordering room service. Just be warned the drive-thru line can get rather long here and service...
