Yummee Sandwiches — Restaurant in Campbell

Wonderfully fantastic little hole in the wall place with inside seating, a TV by the entrance, soda and juice fridge and a easy to understand menu. Wifey and I ordered 3 Banhmi sammy’s a chicken, pork and vegetarian along with an order of the spring rolls. Spring rolls are very big, taste fresh and the flavor is spot on 5 stars. The peanut dipping had a strange consistency and was liquidy, the flavor was slightly off also 2.5 stars. The pork Banhmi was slightly dry but overall very good with a hint of heat from the hot peppers 4 stars. The vegetarian, with sautéed mushrooms, Tofu, cilantro, pickled veggies, onions, and peppers was a total surprise to my taste buds. Probably the best Banhmi I’ve ever had. 5 stars The bread on all 3 sammy’s came to us warm, fresh and crispy 5 stars. The person that took our order was super nice 5 stars. Takeout on 6/12/2021. Today I had their shredded chicken $7 and combo $7 sandwiches. Each sandwich measured six inches in length. For the shredded chicken sandwich, the first and last last bites were all bread. The distribution of cilantro, cucumber, pickled carrots/daikon and shredded chicken were all stuffed in the middle. The chicken was super dry and was probably in the fridge for too long to retain any moisture. Perhaps they forgot to put mayo and soy sauce on this sandwich. For the combo sandwich, it wasn't bad. It had cha lua, ham, pate and the usual Vietnamese sandwich ingredients. This sandwich did not suffer the same dryness that made the shredded chicken inedible. Cute little sandwich/pho place! We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in and we didn't feel rushed at all to make our order. Their menu is simple and their shop is clean!

My go to is the BBQ pork when I want a Vietnamese sandwich and wow, theirs was AMAZING! They even have an option for double meat, which I skipped and I was not disappointed; meat to bread ratio was perfect. The cucumbers in both of our sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, juicy and crunchy. My partner opted for the bacon - boiled pork sandwich; also delicious! Thai iced tea is another go to and that was great. We also ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee; waaaaay to strong for me, but that's because this was legit, in my option.
