McDonald's — Restaurant in Canby

Poor first appearance after grand reopening.... Brand new foundation up remodel with all the newest bells and whistles, or so you'd think? Realizing newly opened restaurant I opened my app, found a $1 off qp w/ cheese, placed order making sure cashier acknowledged coupon reference and no onion request, no one else was ahead of me so instantly got to the remodeled window one so I handed over my cash with correct change to the busy cashier, she only briefly glanced over while finishing her transaction, when she finally looked up she saw me still holding up my phone with the code on it, she then made a "hump" sound and said "next time" followed by "it's too late" & "you did it wrong", me, still confused, am realizing I'm paying a $7+ change for a qp w/ c w/o onions and a small shake. Feeling disappointed I asked cashier "ok if I did it wrong? Next time I should: mention coupon when ordering and give phone code at window.....? (I believe that is what I did?) Cashier was quick to agree with an added "or give code at order screen or make sure before money is taken (I think this is where the blame was handed back to the customer?). I gave a unappreciated customer glance back and proceeded to get my order included with what looks to be extra onions a great small shake. I found out about the onions and pulled over to go back inside to get this all corrected......but also NO RECEIPT! So me being in a rush ect looked for a place to make a small complaint, nothing easy in the app, nothing easy on the web page, maybe it was posted on the receipt.....?? Anyways I think I could have received the same order with fries for cheaper if I would have ordered from combo and no punch for my McCafe' Over all small stuff but I will avoid this location for the short future. UPDATE: 04/29/25 My update is that we have gone here so many times since moving here. Service and everything is seriously improved.

Old review: Sourly disappointed in our meal. I paid for garbage and left it there. Lady was looking at me like I was the problem, so I just left them (my large fries that were ice cold) there. They were so nasty I was really turned off by them and didnt wanna eat my lunch. And we only removed 4 or 5 out of the half filled box on top of that. I paid almost $30. for 2 meals. The Happy meal was just as old and cold. Look at my history. After thousands of posts, there are less than 10 negative reviews. I think I just wont come back here. This is the 3rd time and I couldnt keep it quiet anymore. After I did this review in the parking lot we left and then realized my grandson never received his chocolate milk. So we had to go back. I recorded this encounter. Well, the lack there of. The same woman looked right at me, rolled her eyes and looked away. 3 minutes of video. While she ignored me and walked passed me twice. No one at this establishment speaks English at least not to me any way. Save your money go somewhere else the canby McDonald's is the worst of the worst totaly woke crew and can not get order right and blame it on you because you speak no Spanish in Canby lol that's funny. They repeatedly got my order wrong and told me to learn more Spanish. You will never see me at this McDonald's again and I do not recommend any one els goes thier . I think calling corporate and having them do an audit on the store and revue the manegment team . I think after I'm done I will call corporate and also give I.C.E a call and file a complaint with both the corporate office of McDonald's as well as leaving a detailed complaint with ICE . No one is English speaking at this MCDONALD'S and they play games at the drive through. When I go in the bathrooms thier disgusting I can't see the kitchen but I have my doubts about the cleanliness of this vasility. If you have any respect for yourself and your family do not go to the Canby McDonald's store until a full internal audit has been conducted on all I-9 forms and the corporate office can find out what is going on all...
