With another couple, we like to go out for an occasional breakfast. Trying different places out as we go. This time, we ended up here. Our overall experience was positive, but I will start with the three, relatively minor, negative things we found which led to a four star, rather than five-star review. In no particular order they are: Parking – there are a few spaces next to the building, and a lot below the building. If you can snag a place next to the building, you’re in good shape. If you have mobility issues and cannot snag a space there, good luck. Cash only – that is what they are. They do offer an ATM if you found out about this policy when you arrived, or did not bring enough with you. Hash browns – they are not. What they serve is called shoestring fries in every other place I’ve been. While they are tasty, they are almost impossible to pick up with a fork and so you have to go the finger route. Now to the good stuff. The food is good and you get plenty of it. Another table ordered the pancakes and we were amazed at how big they were (that table took the majority of them home!). The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We asked for some changes and they had no problems doing them. The place is small though so get there early, or at off times. Prices are very reasonable. The menu is quite extensive for a breakfast and lunch place and all the typical offerings are there. Our experience was very nice overall. They also have daily specials featured on a board outside and inside the restaurant.

Stopped in for this first time this morning, Ordered wedding soup and a East end wrap. Wedding soup came very fast and was on the table in under 3 minutes. The taste of the soup was very good and very enjoyable on a cold day ( definitely recommend trying). My main dish came only 5 minutes later! I was very impressed on the service. When trying the main dish I was a bit overwhelmed with the taste of horseradish and that continued as I ate the wrap. ( If you really like horseradish this might be great for you , but if you don’t I would suggest trying another menu item.) Restaurant is very small inside so there may be a wait. Also a bit of a walk to the parking lot but not terrible. Staff is very friendly and we were all treated well. Remember to bring more than a card because it is cash only.

I don't live anywhere around here, but if I did, I would probably get breakfast at Alice's three times a week. What a fantastic omelette! I had the Kitchen Sink with an extra egg. Sausage gravy on my hash browns. The eggs were so fluffy and creamy; absolutely one of the best I've ever had. And if that wasn't enough to convince you, the staff are super nice here! This early in the morning, it's great to be greeted by some friendly faces. I will come back here every time I'm in the area for breakfast. Notes: cash only, no counter top, and very small dining room that probably fills up quickly on the weekends.

Well...that was fabulous.

Alice's is the kind of place you want to keep all to yourself...but that you go online and give five stars to because you want to see the owners of these little places do well.

If I lived near here, though, I'd have a hard time not coming here every single day. We were passing through on our way to New York and chose it based on the Yelp reviews. We were NOT disappointed.

I had a BLT on Italian and it was literally the best BLT I've ever had. Such a simple dish but the quality ingredients and perfect preparation here really kicked it into high gear. My husband had a big sandwich called the Scotty Special and a basket of fresh-cut fries with brown gravy. He ate every bite and loved it.

Because they asked ;-) we had to try the desserts. Of course, I could see the cherry pie sitting on the counter and you could just tell by how it looked that it was: (1) homemade; (2) had an amazing crust; and (3) was probably delicious. All correct. That's what my husband had. I had the cream puff cake -- which was like a cross between a pie and a cake -- and was amazing. (Also, I still had their really good coffee left and that was perfect with the cream puff cake.)

The owner and staff were friendly and efficient so that just tops off an experience that will bring us back to Alice's any time we pass anywhere...

I have always loved this place and usually the food and service is so amazing! I know we have been in quarantine and they have to be outside now but we got there and ordered our food, then we waited about 45 minutes for two burgers and fries and everyone else that came after us got their food before we did. A whole group of guys came(who were talking to the cook, they were obviously friends) and they all received their sausages, fries and drinks before we did. Also our food was really messy and I asked for napkins and they only gave me two exactly which I also had to wait for. I asked for them and they were grabbed but another guy asked for a drink after I asked for help and she held them until she was done with him. I am Giving them 3 stars because we used to love this place so much! I was really sad at the service we received today...the food was good though! I just felt like we were some kind of outcasts there because we didn't know the people...
