Hearing about this place, so I grabbed a friend and we came out for lunch. The interior is pretty bare bones, and the four tables for people to sit at were not much to see. Most of the foot traffic we saw was for people picking up food - which was not too much of a surprise on a weekday. The way it works is that you order at the counter and they run your order back to the kitchen. We sat down at a table and they brought the food to us - in takeout containers! Fried Chicken sandwiches is the main thing. They also have smash burgers. All kinds of combinations are possible with those basic proteins where they put toppings, sauces, and whatnots with the patties on a bun. Sides have to be ordered separately. We wanted to sample several so we ended up with the sampler plate which featured Boneless Wings; Macaroni and Cheese Wedges; and Mozzarella sticks. Those come with a choice of wing sauce and a marinara to dip in. Food was delivered pretty quickly and it came straight out of the fryer - we needed to be careful to not burn our tongues and mouths! Given what it was, we thought the food was tasty - but very messy, so we were glad to see the rolls of paper towels at each table! We needed to use them. As a spice lover, I ordered the Dirty Bird, and found it to be mild as the spiciest ingredients on it were the Louisiana hot sauce and pepper rings, but those are tamed by the cole slaw. The wing sauce which promised to have Red Hot in it, was also tamed down by blue cheese. Oh well. Not exactly spicy, but still tasty.

Got my order through DoorDash. Although the app wouldn’t let me mod my order the folks at cocky’s were happy to make the adjustments after a quick phone call. My dad got a triple decker smash burger and i got the spicy honey chicken sandwich. So damn good yall! For our first experience i feel like this spot goes the extra mile for its “order out” customers where other places dont. They even put little square of foil on top of our fries to keep the heat in! Big fan of Cocky’s Coop right now! $37 bucks for two sammies and fries but thats through door dash

I got the hot honey chicken sandwich, AND I DEMOLISHED IT! The service was amazing such sweet people I felt at home!! You can tell by the picture a demon took over as soon as I tasted the sandwich, the Fries were gone within moments as well. Please go here support their business because it IS SO GOSH DARN GOOD!!! They were also showing a UFC fight!!! So awesome!!

This was a horribly disappointing experience… both the food and the service. We ordered carry out for 5 people, and not only was the food cold, but two of our boneless chicken orders were completely missing the sauce, one boneless chicken order had very minimal sauce, the salad had no dressing, and we had no condiments. Not only did we pay $57 for this food, but we left a tip as well.

When I called to complain, they offered to bring the missing sauces to our house. My food is already cold, and now I should wait 20 more minutes for the sauce?

An employee then offered to re-do our order, but the GM quickly stopped him. He then offered to give me a 25% off discount on my next order. Now that is funny. Like I’ll be returning.

Honestly, I would have just appreciated a sincere apology with a sincere effort to right the situation. I received neither.

I am so disappointed, and I absolutely...

Great food. I've been here 4 times total, and 3 of the the 4 times my order has been wrong.

I've had cheese on my burger even though I've specified that I am lactose intolerant and made it very clear that i did not want cheese.

I've very specifically ordered sauces on the side for wings, twice out of 2 times they have proven incapable of this feat. The second time i repeated sauces on the side 4 times and they still couldn't figure it out.

The cashier up front has always been polite (except when it was one of the cooks) but the dining room constantly gets dirty looks from the kitchen staff. I even had one of the cooks come out and tell me I placed my order wrong once.

I wont lie. The food here is great and the wing sauces are a knockout. After giving many chances though I think in the future I will be going...
