Linda's Hometown Bakery — Restaurant in Canonsburg

So when the bakery opened I was excited! I really try to help out the new local businesses since I am from the area. However, I have to say that I don't know what's happening. Some things like the pepperoni rolls are excellent but I have had to throw away at least $35 in goods. Just a day or so ago I stopped and got pepperoni rolls straight from the oven they were awesome I bought those little round pecan cup type cookies and the first bite I had to spit out it tasted very old or greasy it had a terrible taste and I smelled the container and it smelled the same. So folks if you're freezing your goods if you're using older product and you want to stay alive you need to stop this. I don't know that I will leave and go back. I refuse to return baked goods for my money back but I cannot afford to keep throwing your stuff in the trash. I'm sorry for the bad review but... Sometimes we have to learn from...

This was our first time here. My husband and I went in to grab some donuts and boy, was that a good decision! The donuts were so fresh and soft and delicious! Little pillows of heaven! The lemon donuts was so tasty! We ordered six donuts so we could have some for later but decided to eat one in the parking lot. Needless to say we did not make it out of the parking lot with any donuts. We ate them all right there! The lady working the front counter was so sweet and let us know about some of the other stuff they had, including pierogies, pasta, soup and more. We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious items! By the way the prices are very good. I paid way more for a half a dozen of hard Donuts from Dunkin last week that basically had to go in the trash. I would highly recommend this...

I have been going into Linda's since the bakery opened. I bought a tray of cookies last year for Christmas, they were very tasty and decorative. I don't know what happened this year, but I bought 2 large trays this year (120.00). They were both very soft ( as if they had been frozen). Some of the cookies looked store bought and no flavor, and there were more poppyseed and apricot and raspberry horns than any other cookies. I got only 1 reeses cup cookie, only 2 cream cheese horns which were under all the other cookies, got squashed...☹️ paid 60.00 a tray. So...
