Sarris Candies Chocolate Factory — Restaurant in Canonsburg

Definitely a local candy institution. Counter serve ice cream shop serving up sweet treats and a creative confectionery for producing those treats. Worth a visit for candy and chocolate lovers as you may find some unique treats in various shapes and sizes. The chocolate castle that is on display is also interesting to see as a lot of hours and money went into the build. There are also other displays around the store that are nicely done and seasonal in nature.

I'm not a sweet treat lover and while I found the place interesting, I'd not go out of my way to make a trip here unless I happen to be in the local area for other reasons. The store of sweets was okay, but the feel was not as warm and welcoming as I hoped. The ice cream parlor nothing special as it's quite small and lacked the warm inviting personality I hoped for. And the outdoor seating is not great either. But I get it, it's a production facility and warehouse, and this is the feel it portrayed to me. Overall. 3 stars from me. Stop in. Grab some sweet treats. And be gone. Nothing special to keep you there eating more than you should and enjoying a world of candy. I suppose there is a park for that if you go East.
