I had a fantastic experience at the new Raising Cane’s in Canton! We went on opening day, and the energy was absolutely incredible. It was clear that the entire community was excited to welcome them, as there were easily 300 cars lined up in the drive-thru and another 150 people waiting to get in. Despite the large crowd, the staff managed everything smoothly and efficiently, which made the experience even more impressive.
While waiting in the drive-thru, I learned that you can place a catering order—and let me tell you, this was a game changer! I placed a catering order right then and there, and in just 20 minutes, it was ready for pickup. The process was super simple: you just walk to the counter to pick it up, and you’re done. It saved so much time, and it was such a convenient option for avoiding the long lines while still getting to enjoy that signature Raising Cane’s goodness.
The food, of course, was amazing as always. Their chicken fingers were fresh, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The Cane’s Sauce is unmatched—perfectly tangy and flavorful. Their Texas toast, crinkle-cut fries, and coleslaw rounded out the meal beautifully. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious, even with the rush of opening day. It’s clear they put a lot of effort into ensuring the quality of the food even under pressure.
The staff deserves a huge shoutout. They were friendly, organized, and kept things moving despite the massive crowd. It was clear they were well-prepared for opening day, and their positive attitude made the experience even better.
Overall, I’m so excited to have a Raising Cane’s in Canton! The food, service, and efficiency all exceeded my expectations. If you haven’t been yet, definitely give them a try—just be prepared for some lines because this place is already super popular. Pro tip: if you’re in a hurry, consider placing a catering order like I did. It’s quick, easy, and you still get all the deliciousness without the wait.
Highly recommend this location and can’t wait...
Read moreMust say when I took the detour on my way home from work this Friday afternoon I wasn't hopeful to not have to wait an hour or more so I was fully prepared to do a mobile order , but to my surprise I was able to pull up and only wait about 5 minutes or so in line at the drive thru , it was my first time officially having Canes I mean I've tasted it when my son brought it back from Ohio but my first time officially buying it for myself and I must say I am thoroughly hooked the tender meaty chicken strips that came in the 6 piece meal are packed with deliciousness with every bite and the lemonade is great and will be great on a hot summer day. The canes sauce is like crack mixed with every bite of that tender chicken. I will say I was very impressed with the coleslaw as well after hearing from some friends that weren't a fan of it I decided to try it for myself and I personally am a fan of it , the bread they give you is buttered and toasted to perfection and the crinkle fries were salted perfectly ...now the staff was outstanding when I got to the pick up window in drive thru and saw how absolutely crazy it was in that food prep area I was more impressed and amazed at that staff from the parking lot security guys to the order taker and cooks this Canes of Canton is truly amazing and should be recognized for what they have accomplished ....please please please give them a shot and go see them you'll be happy you did ....BTW the menu is simple and limited and makes it all the better I can't wait to try...
Read moreTried Raising Cane’s for the first time last night at their grand opening in Canton, and honestly, I don’t get the hype. We were told it would be a 2 hour wait in the drive thru at 1 am, so we just went inside and waited like 20 minutes. We ordered the 4 piece Box Combo. The chicken tenders were small, single breaded, and had no flavor. Fries weren’t fresh, just lukewarm at best. The toast was fine, and while everyone seems to hate on the slaw, I actually thought it was the best thing on the tray. The sauce? Just okay—tasted like a basic mix of mayo, ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice. Nothing special. I don't understand why the canes sauce gets so much glaze.
The drinks were also a letdown. The sweet tea wasn’t sweet at all, and the lemonade tasted like artificial lemon water. I even asked for everything fresh, and the guy at the counter assured me it would be—but it wasn’t. To top it off, the service was subpar. At the end of the night, when there was no longer a line, we asked for a box to take our leftovers home. Instead of helping us, the employee just went around chatting with other customers and coworkers, completely ignoring our request. Music was also blaring in the dining room, way too loud.
My girlfriend is a huge Cane’s fan and has been to multiple locations in Ohio, but even she admitted this location was a miss. She barely finished her food, which says a lot. As for me, this was my first time trying Cane’s, and it will also be my last. There are way better chicken...
