Ordered papa johns and they door dashed my delivery. First pizza we ordered was wrong, it was just a cheese pizza. Was starving, so took a bite and it was not even warm. Dough wasn’t cooked all the way, and was way to puffy. Door dash driver had to drop off another pizza before he delivered to us. Called papa johns to let them know our order was incorrect, so they sent us a new one. The manager was very short with me and hung up before I was finished telling him pizza was cold, undercooked.
The second pizza came by door dash again and wasn’t hot at all. Pepperoni had zero crispness. Dough was over proofed and slightly raw. While cheese looked like they put in microwave to melt.
Papa Johns wants to save money by not paying their own drivers, so the quality has gone down hill. Papa Johns blames door dash. It’s not DoorDash fault for undercooked pizza. However, don’t think door dashes method of keeping pizza warm, is effective.
You can’t be the best pizza chain forever. Eventually greed gets the best of a quality company and they start cutting corners. These incompetent employees want more and more money to do nothing. At the same time we keep hiring them, paying them more. Before covid, one person did the job of what two or three people can do today. Maybe we need to pay one person a little less than double wages to work for three employees. That would save them money and boost customer service. Walk into papa johns and they have 10 people working and half of them look like that have no clue what’s going on. One of them could have been given the, “door greeter,” title. They could hand out stickers to kids.
Papa johns could start making a grocery store frozen version of pizza you can just cook yourself. At least it will be up to us to cook all the way and be hot. It would take there, “never frozen,” slogan and annihilate that. They already destroyed the, “better,” slogan. I misunderstood, “our promise is simple: To over deliver with every pizza we deliver.” I am now clear that were going to send one order incorrect and have to send another order. That can’t be cost effective. I thought they were promising to “over deliver,” on customer service.
When AI takes all these jobs away, where are all these rude, lazy people going to work? If you think about it, papa johns must be the first pizza company to have robots working in store. They have zero personality…. Makes sense. I’m...

The Main reason for this review is because of the rude and obnoxious multi-colored hair lady that was not helping anyone . If she's a manager and your having staffing issues I can tell you its not the staff. This lady pops out of the back and is so close to the guy trying to take care of the couple people in the lobby that it made me feel uncomfortable. she immediately starts in badgering him and trying to tell him what to do when he didn't ask and seemed to be handling everything just fine. then when he's finishing up with a customer she tries to convince him that he messed up and he needed to do this and that. Guess who was wrong in the end and was just snotty about it. Did you guess the Multi color hair chick because you'd be right. Once the lady got her order after this fiasco she turned around and as she was headed out the door she rolled her eyes and you could tell she felt some kind of way with the whole ordeal.

Read moreI have been ordering food here for a long time and had not had any problems with the door dash but today my daughter placed an order and the door dash after an hour started calling us saying where we lived and that he was lost and that he could not find the address, more than an hour went by and he kept calling, I made the decision to call papa john's to find a solution and for them to tell me what to do because the payment had already been taken. And their response was; we have no control of the deliveries or door dash and there is nothing we can do, it is incredible and ridiculous that they take a payment and say that they are not responsible for the customers. After they take the payment they do not care if the customers receive the food or not. The last option they gave me was you can call customer service, it is ridiculous to think that you paid for something and that they do not care if it arrives or not. It is absurd that the workers and the manager of Papa John's say that they do not have control over the food deliveries but they do have control over the customers' money....
