Cruiser's Lounge — Restaurant in Cape Coral

As far as gay bars go, definitely a way better vibe than normal. Well lit and cozy instead of dark and seedy.

Went in for an event, the tuesday line dance. Margs were cheap but mediocre (premade huge jug, think applebees dollar margs) walking tacos were nice and... free! which was a huge surprise.

The bartender was a total sweetheart 10/10. Line dance dude taught 1 song and then straight up dipped at like 7:45 (an hour and 15 mins early than posted time) he did mention the "regular" line dance crowd was all out of town? still super disappointing to just kinda get left with the most generic country playlist and no lessons.

We did end up bailing at around 9 so didn't get to see if the place devolved into regular "gay bar" style late night but what we were there for (minus the ??? line dance lesson event) was actually very enjoyable and a really pleasant surprise from normal...

I only waited the food 5 stars because I knew it was going to be amazing if I did order something the service was only four because I'm homeless and I wasn't able to fully take advantage of the full capabilities of the absolutely wonderful aesthetic that Cruisers brings to the table, I rated the atmosphere one star because one of the owners kicked me out for absolutely no reason I did nothing wrong whatsoever to The Establishment or to any of its people I didn't leave any negative energy and I feel like he actually wanted to ensure the fact that he had as many free cards as he wanted to for his personal sexual fantasies I would have no issue with that only if it didn't come at the cost of my life and my positivity and how I'm trying to spread that with the world. Is knowledge of that fact is at this moment not important to me neither needed for this to be read and understood....

This place is just too much fun!

Chris Schimmel just reopened and remodeled the place, but the key is that his special energy attracted Mike Haynes, his manager, while keeping Denise and her following.

The bottom line is that the energy among both staff and clientele is accepting, uplifting, and too much fun at any time of day... sure to be the newest and best local hotspot for anyone: gay, straight and anyone in between.

Butch bikers and delicate-types too. Early-birds, night-owls and most of all, fun-lovers... the more varied stripes the better.

Hit 'em up for a visit... you won't be disappointed and almost certainly will make a friend or two and for sure will be glad for the visit.
