This was my first time at this location (Sunday a.m.) Hostess and server were pleasant, I had a pot of coffee in front of me quickly. I ordered the same thing I always get at 1stW - traditional, over easy, ham. So the server comes about ten minutes later and tells me "Here it is, the finest breakfast ever." Then she adds... "The one egg (the broken one) isn't over easy and the other one looks hard to (it clearly was). I'll check back in five minutes and see what you think." Yep, both over hard. She comes back to check, "Do you want replacement eggs?" So, I'm supposed to stare at the remaining potatoes, ham and toast waiting for eggs or eat those items and just have two eggs? "No point now," I said. I go to checkout, the hostess asks how things were and I say "Well, a breakfast place that can't cook eggs over easy..." She says she's sorry and "Why didn't you have them make you more eggs, it would only take 3 or 4 minutes!" How about this instead... if the cook didn't notice the eggs were jacked up shame on the cook. But seeing as the server noticed before delivering the plate how about she says to the cook "Yo, these eggs aren't over easy, get me the right order!" Maybe I'm expecting too much from a breakfast place, really, wanting over easy... the nerve.

Read moreI give the food 4 stars. I give the service 1-2 stars. I feel the waitresses are more accommodating to older customers. Just because I am young, it doesn't mean I am going to overlook bad service. I've observed how my waitresses have acted with other customers and feel I received poor service compared to customers older than me. I've had a waitress demand me to "pass the cup" to pour me water in a flat tone of voice. Okay, it's Saturday morning and you're working, not my fault. Put a fake smile on and try to be good at your job. To not bore you with other details of her ill waitressing, at the end, she kept looking to see if I was done with my meal so she can take the plate away. She never came over to ask if I wanted a box. Just for fun, I sat there an extra 10 minutes just to see how long it would take for her to come over and ask nicely if I wanted a box to go for my meal. When she did finally come over she asked me if she could take the plate away, in her flat tone of course. I then had to request a box. The box she brought me was the smallest they had. I had a lot of left overs. This I assumed she did out of spite since she was not able to clean my table since I took forever with my meal. I am there spending my money on your food and your service. BE NICE. It's what you're supposed to do as a waitress. I had to stuff my left overs in that tiny box because I didn't want to deal with her anymore. The three times I have been to this First Watch, I Ieave irritated because of the lazy waitresses. The food is really good, but the service isn't impressive. The service is better at the...
Read moreI recently visited First Watch with a group of friends, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! I can't resist sharing my delightful experience, so here goes!
The moment I walked in, I was drawn to the cozy ambiance and friendly atmosphere. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and promptly seated our group. After browsing through their menu, I decided to try their Cobb Salad, and OMG, was I in for a treat! The salad was prepared to perfection, with fresh ingredients that burst with flavor in every bite. It was a truly satisfying and healthy choice.
The highlight of my visit, though, was the Watermelon Wake-Up drink. This refreshing concoction, a seasonal offering, blended watermelon, pineapple, lime, and mint in a heavenly symphony of flavors. I couldn't get enough of it! It's a shame it's only available seasonally, but if you get the chance, don't miss out on trying this delightful beverage before it's gone from the menu.
The service was impeccable, and our server (whose name, unfortunately, I didn't catch) was an absolute delight. She was attentive, friendly, and had great recommendations for both food and beverages.
Overall, my experience at First Watch was just perfect. The combination of delectable food, a refreshing and unique drink, and top-notch service made for an unforgettable dining outing with my friends. I highly recommend First Watch to anyone looking for a wonderful breakfast or brunch spot. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of their delicious offerings...
