Haven’t received one response and it’s been over a month regarding the below!
I come here every Sunday morning for breakfast we decide to bring our guest with us. We ALWAYS had an amazing experience up until this past Sunday which was Father’s Day. We came in and were greeted right away and only had to wait about 10min for a table. The issue didn’t start until our server (don’t know his name, he never introduced himself) came to the table and started taking our orders for drinks. I was impressed by how I thought he would memorize all 10 drinks without writing it down until he got 2 of them wrong. Some of our drinks were filled up to 3/4… we had mentioned to him about the 2 drinks and the partially filled cups and told us he will fix it right away (that issue was never corrected). It was time for our order to be taken and was kind of worried our orders were going to come out wrong since he didn’t write any of the orders down and just went off my memory since the drinks were already wrong to begin with. My guest had asked him a question about an item on the menu and he didn’t seem to understand and started to get frustrated (we disregard the question because he looked annoyed). Everyone had already placed the order and was handing him the menus and only took back a few because he said the rest of the menus needs to stay (never experienced that when I come). We see him come out with 4 plates on one arm and everyone was disgusted at the fact that he thought it was okay that one of the dirty bottom plate was ON TOP of the food of the plate underneath it (his thumb was also touching the eggs and now just realizing it was indeed my eggs that I ate). I had mentioned that to him and he told me “we do not have trays because management doesn’t let us use them and I complain to them about it for this exact reason”. I asked him if he wanted me to speak to management on his behalf about it and he said no it’s fine. He took back two plates to have them fix only for him to bring back one of the plates with hair (located on the bottom right plate by the eggs) and eggs that seems to be eaten. When I had told him that there’s hair in my guest’s eggs he was visibly annoyed and said “there’s always a problem with your table” as he was walking away with the plate. That comment made all my guests very upset and I was mortified and embarrassed since I spoke so highly of this place. He came back and handed my guest their plate and said “here check it” and as we were checking the plate he continued to say “what now? Is there another problem” and I told him no that the plate was fine. All of my guest and I were hesitant to even eat the food at this point. Everyone who had pancakes used the syrup that was on the table only to find out there was so many ants inside the bottle (at this point everyone finished eating). The server came by and we told him there was ants inside the bottle. His response was “It was someone else’s job to keep the bottles cleaned but I’ll get you a new one”. Mind you there was no pancakes to pour the new bottle of syrup onto. I was going to take a picture of the syrup bottle until he snatched it from my guest’s hand. It was time to pay and he dropped of the check. I was honestly hesitant to leave a tip but did it anyways. I wasn’t even done signing the check and he came by and took the receipt away (pretty sure he wanted to see if I left a tip or not). I told him I didn’t sign it yet and he said “okay I’ll be back”. He never once took accountability or apologized for the horrible experience that my guest and I have received. This was a very upsetting experience. I spent over $150, and I still feel embarrassed that this happened in front of my guests. I genuinely regret leaving a tip. Almost a week later, I still think about how uncomfortable it was. The hosts, managers, and most of the staff here are always wonderful and welcoming which is why I’ve come every Sunday, but this one server left such a bad impression that I’m considering driving to the North Fort Myers location instead which is such an...
Read moreI don’t even know where to start! I ordered pickup from the app and when we got home the spicy poblano omelet didn’t have any avocado and we were missing a short stack of pancakes. I tried to call ahead and explain the issue so the item could just be picked up quickly. The girl that answered the phone kept interrupting me and putting the phone down and asking everyone around her if they took my order! She didn’t even let me get past my name. Then I keep trying to correct her assumptions, was it door dash(No!), how the order was placed (not over the phone!) and still couldn’t get a word in edgewise! I asked a few times for the manager and the guy ‘John’ sounded exactly like one of the people she was asking about my food. When he got on the phone he didn’t identify himself as a manager, just John. I asked if he was the manager and he said yes. I told him about my experience calling there and he seemed like he couldn’t care less. Then I say there’s no avocado on the omelette and he said ‘oh that’s because we don’t have any.’ Ok, can someone let me know since I expect the food to be as advertised?! Also, I tell him that we are missing a short stack of pancakes. His response was ‘That’s it?!’ Which of course I did not take well. I said not only were the items paid for but the person returning has had to go there twice and now their food is getting cold. He tried to backpedal and act like he was asking if that was all but his tone was very clear. Turns out all the food was lukewarm regardless (we live 5 mins from the restaurant and we were there early because their time estimates are always off). The shredded beef in my omelet was actually cold. Refrigerator cold. My son’s eggs were way overcooked as well. On top of all this, when the person arrived to pick up the pancakes the front manager replied ‘Oh nooooo!’ in a mocking tone when he said there were pancakes missing. Then John the manager, told him ‘I already apologized to the lady on the phone’. Which he actually never uttered a word of apology or concern so I’m not sure why he bothered lying. What a terrible experience for almost $80! The audacity to downplay something a customer paid for from a place that charges over $4 for 2 slices of toast is beyond...
Read moreThis waiter, Diana, She didn’t introduce herself or make us feel welcome. Be aware of Diana! The way she treated us like we were nothing. When we sat down, Diana came to us and asked what we wanted but then proceeded to say “only the drinks , Only the drinks” with an attitude. My family and I brushed off her attitude giving her the benefit of the doubt. New customers came in and Diana sat them down and took their drink order and food order all together. That was a huge red flag for us since she made us only order our drinks and stated that we should only order our drinks. New customers came in and now 3 people have been served before us. We observed the way Diana’s attitude was with others and Diana treated everyone with respect and had conversations with them. When she gave us our food, we asked for condiments and refills but she kept putting her hand up like she wanted us to stop talking. We ended up complaining to the manager but the manager seemed like he didn’t care as well as he rolled his eyes and walked away. When we were leaving , Diana wanted the last word and told us it was because my dad was not at the table when we sat down , implying that it was my dads fault. To sum it up, Diana is a rude waiter and you should MOST DEFINITELY avoid her. Another team member witnessed Diana’s attitude and stated that Diana is known for getting complaints for her attitude. Diana never apologized and she had the nerve to say it was my fathers fault. Diana, get another job because clearly working with guests does...
