Panera Bread — Restaurant in Cape Coral

This was by far the worst of all the Panera Bread chains I have been to. To start off the “new” self order machines didn’t accept either myPanera or my debit card. So I had to go up to the counter to order. When I ordered from her and said something about the machine wouldn’t accept my card she replied with “oh that happens often”. THIS IS A NEW LOCATION! Why are they already having problems like that after about maybe a month? On top of that every Panera chain has food runners so that would be a standard that this one failed to meet as well. The cup lids weren’t fully cut so I just had to leave the lid off of my drink because I couldn’t put a straw in the cup with the lid on. When I went up to the counter you could see at least 3 people in the back so why was there no food runner? My other half was with me and she went to the restroom and said there was a gap in which a person could see clearly into the stall. Then the icing on the cake of disaster this location is was she ordered the Baja Mac and cheese however she got 3 bites in and couldn’t eat it stating it was unbearable to eat and she was getting nauseous eating it. I will gladly not be ever coming back to this location. I apologize about this rant but this was totally unacceptable as a business. Standards are meant to be met not...

This is my local Panera bread and I have given them multiple opportunities to get not only our to go orders right but to have items in stock.We have been ordering from here since they opened. This location seems to have run out of French Baquettes and other ingredients as well. Every time we want to order baguettes, they do not have them. Not only that, I was told that they do not have a brioche bun for their new Chicken take sandwich and that they couldn't substitute the bread. Meanwhile, I’m hearing their employees offer other to go orders the option of choosing another kind of bread for that same sandwich. Why was I not given this option? They basically lied to my face. No matter what time of day I have ordered from here, they mess up our order or we have to order something different because they cannot adjust their menu items. The pictures are from our order tonight. The first picture only has three small pieces of chicken for the pick two salad which is completely different then the same salad ordered last week in store. The second picture is supposed to be a large salad. $12 later for a small salad. Grilled cheese was burnt on the inside with the bread hardly cooked. I have never had a problem at any other Panera Bread. Very unhappy with this location...

Came into this location today for lunch and got french onion soup. It tasted... Different? Than most French onion soups I've had. Not rotten, almost a tomato taste. Like it had been frozen, thawed, and heated multiple times... not fresh, Just. off. Different. I didn't think much of it, I figured they just had a different recipe that didn't necessarily appeal to me- until I was almost done eating and started feeling nauseous. I've progressively gotten sicker throughout the day with food poisoning symptoms and at this point there's definitely no question that is exactly what's going on. I did a quick Google search "Panera food poisoning" and was horrified at all of the reports, specifically from soup, including from employees that confirmed my suspicion about it being repeatedly thawed and refrozen. We definitely won't be back, and hopefully they see this and dump that particular soup. It's sad to see people serving things to guests that they know they wouldn't...
