Rib City - Cape Coral Pkway — Restaurant in Cape Coral

One would assume that with a name like rib city, they would have some decent ribs. On my 3rd visit, it was the same dried out thin rib rack. The meat was tough, and it was tearing off the bone, just like the other 2 times I ate here.. It was like it was on its 2nd or 3rd reheat batch. Ribs are expensive, and I understand food cost, but these choices that the cooks are making are not good choices.. The server never asked how our food was, or I would have explained what my opinions were. The sliced pork was good, and the cole slaw was excellent. The mac and cheese was a little dry but good. The fries were hot and cooked well. Unfortunately, our server was so checked out and uninterested in our visit that I will never dine in this location again. There are just too many better choices in the area. I have been to other rib city's in other locations in florida, and they are so much better than this location. My advice to the restaurant is to at least give the guest the opportunity to get something else if they don't like what you give them. It was not a good experience. This review is strictly from a take out prospective. This being the closest BBQ where I live, I order from this location frequently. But not any more. Everytime I get take out from this rib city, something is wrong with the order. The last time was the last straw. Ordered a whole slab of st Louis ribs and only got 4 ribs. And they were literally ice cold. Like they pulled them out of the frig and put them in a container. I called them and they assured I will get another whole order if I came back. Went back right away and got a new order and they were cold as well. Needless to say we ate elsewhere that evening. At this point I have received so many next meals comped from the manager due to the issues I've had in the past, I don't want to even use them. Management and hosting staff has always been super kind, but what goes on behind those swinging kitchen doors is beyond me and it's not too good. The food itself is hit and miss. Absolutely horrendous. Couldn't order online big deal but when 1 call for order off the menu that is online; 1 expects to get that order. I tried to order the fried pickles. They tell me they don't do fried pickles. Fine. Ordered chicken wings, the skyscraper, pulled pork, and the 1/2#: Was told will be done 10-15 min. Got there about 20 min from when I called. Still had to wait an additional 15 min. When finally got the food went to my car and checked what I received. 1st no wings, chicken strips. Went back in and inquired and they tell me.
