Fire the DJ!!! He caters to the same select 5 people who show up every night, they know every song and order tap water at the bar. His tip jar is empty and so are the bartenders due to his choice of music and auto playlist. Itâs the same damn songs in the same order every single night lately. There are 5 people on the dance floor, none of them have a drink in their hand. Meanwhile he plays ONE song that gets EVERYONE out on floor then changes the music back to what he wants to hear and everyone leaves the dance floor again. Your long time (15years) customers sitting at the bar spending money are leaving! We want to hear up beat line dancing or even just a little bit of hip hop a good mix of both like back in the day would be great, something with a pulse, upbeat, familiar to everyone, we are not there paying to âwatchâ the same 5 people dance to the songs nobody else knows but they feel cool because they do and they have a dance floor to themselves to show off their moves. I personally sat there and watched your bartenders struggle to make tips due to no one ordering drinks and the people who are spending money were leaving due to the atmosphere and music choice on a Friday night. If your profits are looking a little light lately and your liquor order is shrinking I strongly advise the owner with her Starbucks cup to assess the cause because itâs truly an easy fix. We left and walked over to backstreets. There was no shortage of people having a good time and spending money at the bar over there. Wall to wall packed, good music and thatâs normally hard for me to say about karaoke night. Atleast the music had a pulse and people were lively. I have known the bartenders and staff at dixie for MANY years. They are amazing and my drinks are always full and strong. I hate to see them struggle to make tips because there is no one in there spending money due to the atmosphere and crappy music these days. Business owner to business owner I think itâs fair to hear what is actually happening at your bar from someone who has watched it go from âthe place to beâ to âthis music sucks letâs go somewhere elseâ Your DJ needs to get off his auto playlist and start catering to people who spend money and come for...
Read moreDixie Roadhouse promised a lively mix of country meets hip-hop, all night dance party, but instead delivered a prisoners entrance, a smoky atmosphere, and service that left us feeling unwelcome and ignored.
Entrance Enigma: Arriving at peak hour, we were herded like cattle through two separate lines while the doormen checked IDs and bags. A standard protocol for most bars and nightclubs, although the authoritative tone and "step back" commands felt more akin to airport security than a bar entrance. Then, without explanation, a camera captured our faces, leaving us feeling like mugshots were being taken.
Smoke Signals: Stepping inside, the hope for a fun night quickly dissipated. A thick cloud of cigarette smoke hung heavy in the air with the tenacity of a London fog, making the "no smoking indoors" sign seem eerily out of place. As non-smokers we were immediately put off.
Barren Standoff: Eager to unwind with a drink, we approached the bar. Despite being the only patrons waiting, we were met with nothing but dismissive glances from the bartenders. No acknowledgement, no attempt to take our orders, just a blatant disregard that made us feel invisible. After repeated attempts to flag them down, we gave up, defeated and disappointed.
Escape from Dodge: Leaving Dixie Roadhouse felt like escaping a low budget Western. The experience left us frustrated and questioning the establishment's commitment to customer service. If you're looking for a welcoming and enjoyable night out in Cape Coral, there are definitely other options that offer a more pleasant and smoke-free atmosphere, along with bartenders who are actually interested in serving their guests.
*Author's note: On the plus side the đ¶ was banging and the dance floor was packed. Had we not wanted drinks I'm sure we could have salvaged...
Read moreI would leave negative stars, but then I wouldn't be able to warn you of the ignorant bullies they have working there
My family had the great misfortune of being invited out to this fake "cowboy" club. Two members of our party showed their IDs and headed in. When the 22 year old female member of our group showed her US Government issued ID, she was pulled aside, accused of not having legitimate ID and berated by a bouncer high on his own importance. Perhaps a class in what a US Passport looks like is in order. Perhaps a class in decency and a warning about what happens when you pull a pretty young woman away from the men in her party so that you can make her feel afraid, just to get your jollies off might also be due.
The club has always been trash, so I'm not surprised by the ignorant, hateful staff. I did try calling the establishment to speak to a manager as my party was denied that right at the time ... The fake bimbo answering machine doesn't actually let you speak to a human ... But you can leave a message.
Perhaps this warning will save you and yours from the horrible experiences offered in this garbage establishment ... Of course if you are looking to slum in an overpriced, trashy wannabe western, but line dancing to ghetto pop music because all they know about country was learned by watching Jessica Simpson screw up the role of Daisy Duke ... Have at it. Just be sure your vaccines are all current and speak slowly to the staff ... They don't have the intelligence to follow big words or...
