We are visiting the cape from out of state and we looked for a good local ice cream shop to go to. Upon looking at the reviews and sassy replies, we knew we had to check this place out. (Yes we came only for the sass and wanted to find out what the fuss was about) The prices were not as outrageous as some claim. 4oz cup is $4.99, 6oz for $5.99 etc while a whole quart of ice cream is $14.99. They had a quite a few special ice creams that were cool (picture attached) and multiple single flavors. My husband got a 24oz chocolate peanut butter shake for $7.99 and I got a 4oz cup of ice cream that was $4.99. 20% military discount was an added bonus. The milkshake is decently thick and with a fat straw, no problems (the skinny straws make it harder). Not to mention delicious 😋 my ice cream cup was plain jane vanilla with chocolate syrup (add 50 cents) on top that tasted like vanilla bean ice cream. While we would still choose Bruster's ice cream where we live over this, the ice cream was still way better than McDonald's (you know who you are) and sonic. Everything is made to order and in the order you arrive/order. As soon as one is made, they send it out. They don't hang onto anything. The wait was not bad, less than 10 minutes with 6 people in front of us. Although when you have 20+ people in line for this delicious ice cream, the wait time can add up (you also know who you all are, we saw the security camera, there are a lot of people in line in front of you my dear) We loved the owner and he found it funny we came specifically for the sassy replies and drama. But he seems to really care about the place and the people. The girl that was working in the back was sweet and working hard to get everything out nicely and on time. We definitely will be returning during our stay.

I’d give more stars if I could. I absolutely love this place and the owners/employees. They are SO sweet (as the treats they offer 😊) and their food is YUM! To address some of the the lesser reviews compared to my own experience, I have NEVER not seen them use gloves when handling food (I’d notice something like that…trust me) and while yes, some of the items can be pricier, I’d say it’s worth it. Anyone who knows Dubai chocolate knows that this treat in itself is a pricier item no matter where you go. Their ingredients are ALWAYS fresh and everything is made to order. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. They truly care about their products and their customers ❤️ Photograph include the medium Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and their Dubai chocolate waffle… again, all made fresh to order absolutely DELICIOUS!

An absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with such warmth and kindness from the staff—it truly feels like you’re visiting friends, not just an ice cream shop. Their smiles and genuine care make the whole experience extra sweet. The ice cream itself is delicious, with so many fun and creative flavors to choose from. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, and you can tell they put a lot of love into what they do. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or enjoying a family outing, Ice Sssscream makes it special. I can’t recommend this shop enough. Not only is the ice cream amazing, but the staff’s kindness makes every visit memorable. Cape Coral is lucky to have this place!

I have been coming to Ice Screamin I believe since the beginning part of 2018. I started to come with my mom and friend regular because we fell in love with their homemade ice cream. The flavors there are delicious and perfectly balanced. Now I just want to state, I have had bad employees from time to time when I order, who do not communicate well. This has made me sometimes rethink coming back but more times then not I am greeted by friendly happy employees or even sometimes the owner of the business when ordering. I am not going to lie either and say that you always get quick service. (When visiting definitely prepared to sometimes wait awhile due to a ice cream machines being down or a large amount of orders at once.) But please don’t let those rare occasions of slow service and periodic rude employees (that I rarely see again) let you be turned off from trying this place.

My personal favorite is toasted coconut, I later tried the Superman flavor. To be honest I was a little bit scared to try some thing outside of my usual and was a bit skeptical. But it is amazing, it was not at all what I imagined it would taste like, it is a little bit fruity like I thought it would, but it is not too fruity but is on the sweet side, it is beautifully balanced though. My mom’s favorite flavor is the toasted coconut. My friend’s favorite is the cookies n’ cream. I personally recommend trying any of their fine flavors because they are delicious. Each time try something new there, I fall in love with it.

I highly recommend visiting this place and getting their ice cream. I would hate to see them go like other smaller businesses around them are because of COVID-19. They have so many flavors, toppings, and cones to offer, as well as really fun and creative specialty ice cream desserts.

In summary, whether your headed to or back from a trip to the beach on a hot summer day, or your like me who thinks that it is never to cold outside for ice cream. Please visit and support this wonderful small business. I will end my review by quoting my mom who says: “every time I visit their ice cream shop and eat their ice cream, it brings me back to my childhood memories of eating my grandma’s homemade ice cream on a...

24 minutes for two ice creams.

There were two kids working. I think there were three when I first arrived, maybe one walked out. After this, one was on the phone, maybe explaining that one took off. One would take a couple orders and then make ice cream with the other, ignoring the order window for several minutes at a time. And at one point both disappeared in the back for several minutes, and a few people outside were wondering where they went.

When orders are ready, they call out the name of the ice cream, not an order number or a person's name. So if you order a chocolate sundae, then someone else orders the same thing 10 minutes later, there's a good chance they'll take yours when they call out "chocolate sundae!"

And I don't want to hear another ignorant owner cry about covid and staffing issues. Either your business suffers, or you pay a little more - it's that simple. Let's say 5 people get tired of waiting after 15 minutes and leave, then 2 of them write a bad review. That's probably an average of $20 each, so you lose $100 and gain two bad reviews for being "short-staffed." Now, let's say you pay an extra employee $11/hr for 8 hours. That's $88. So you would have covered the kid's wages, and avoided the two bad reviews, by keeping those 5 customers and making that $100.

I've never understood why so many business owners don't understand these most fundamental concepts.

And I know, you sell 1000 ice creams a day and have the most special ice cream in town, I've read the other reviews. If you're doing so well, then there is no excuse for being poorly staffed, having a dirty exterior, and a poor ordering system.

Maybe I'll open a proper ice cream shop across the street, bc this place makes a killing. My shop would be properly staffed (with employees trained on good customer service,) clean, attractive, well maintained, and there would be a solid ordering...
