Ordered catering for local business and always try to support local business when ordering, so chose Taco Worx. First I tried to reach them twice on their website contact us page, but never got a call. Then I made a post on SWFL Foodies page asking if they closed because when I call the number on the website for the Cape Coral location it goes to some spa that is not associated with Taco Worx. The owner (I assume since he gave me his personal cell) reached out to me via facebook messenger where we scheduled the catering. Confirmed on Sept 25th for delivery on Oct 14th. Re-confirmed after Hurricane Milton on Sunday Oct 13th that was still able to be done (at any point they could have told us no), but they confirmed they were able to do it still and we moved it to Tuesday Oct 15th instead to give an extra day. Confirmed all contact information, catering information and I even offered to pick it up but was told they would deliver no problem between 12p-1p on 10/15/2024. I called the direct cell number that was provided to me by them at 12:45pm today (Tues 10/15) and was told they had no idea what I was talking about and they are busy at a food truck event out of town. Someone is confirming catering orders via their facebook page, I have the entire conversation where I did my due diligence to confirm (and was completely understanding if they needed to cancel on us due to the recent storm). Now I have 20 hungry and disappointed employees. They also said on the phone they would 'make it up to us' then hung up on me and when I tried to call back they won't even pick up the phone. At no point was I rude or did I ever raise my voice. Severely disappointed in the lack of organization and complete...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious!
I had the shredded chicken nachos with a side of guacamole, and my husband had the pulled pork "works" burrito. Both were fantastic! The service was super warm and friendly.
I do have some feedback:
The nachos had a problem. THE BEST problem. The fixings were so generous that it was hard to find the chips (though they were plentiful as well). A fork solved this issue. Do note- this could easily feed two "regular hungry" people, and absolutely stuff one hangry teenager.
The pork burrito was moist which made it absolutely delicious, but a little messy. I am of the opinion that if you aren't wearing your food you didn't really enjoy it, so they scored points there.
The guac was SO GOOD. The chips were perfect.
Their house hot sauces were also delish. Our favorite was the garlic.
Is it "authentic" Mexican cuisine? Nope, and they don't advertise as such.
Only wishes (not critiques):
-Salsa Verde. It would SLAP on their chicken and pork.
Low-top tables inside. I'm short and don't love dangling feet; the only options under AC are high-tops. There are standard height dining tables outside, though.
10/10, will eat...
Read moreI have been here a MILLION times, because the food is AMAZING!! But, one thing makes this place stand out above all others, it is the customer service and the atmosphere.. Larry made a mistake and forgot to ring up a drink, do you think he asked for my card again? Nope, he said this is on me!! I can't tell you every time little things like this happen, because it is natural in here, max (the owner) values EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER who walks through that door, so he sets the tone for his amazing employees who follow his leadership. I do merchant services for a living so I deal with business owners everyday, all day long, max is a step above in his business acumen and that is why he will be a success and because the food is ALWAYS amazing, but if you have been here that goes without saying. Hands down my favorite taco place I have ever...
