I have been to several Pho restaurants From Cape Coral to Estero. All were good experiences, but this one has THE BEST Pho Broth my wife and I have found. Unfortunately, this one has the worst experience out of all of them. My advice, do take-out only. This is a 5-Star place if only rating the food alone! As soon as we walked in, there were SEVERAL tables empty and left uncleaned with food and dishes all over them. They were cleaning them and seating people as they would walk in. I am assuming they are having trouble finding help?! This was our first flag, but still, it was a new place so we continued on. With that said, it being a new place, we were really curious to notice that there was no theme to it's design. It was actually kind of annoying when you look around inside. It is clean and bright, but for instance, you see pictures of everything and nothing on the walls, as though they just went to a fabric store and bought all the various pictures in the box on display?! Let's just say the concept of "fang shuia" is not at work in this place at all, and they really should consider a new designer. The "one server" is nice as well as the owner. However, they do not count well and skills are severely lacking in the service department. The server gave us two chopsticks and two spoons for me, my wife, and 3 little girls. When we ordered 5 drinks they only gave us four and one straw?! They did not bring the check so I ended up going up front and just saying we are ready to go after waiting for 15 minutes with and empty messy table and loud kids. Mind you, they were not that busy at all. You will definitely need patience on the service. If you don't have the tolerance with little annoying thing after another, or time to wait for everything, then you will not be happy here right now. If the Pho wasn't so good I would say run for the hills, but we will give it another try down the road due to that alone...that...and that they were at least polite. But if they do not figure out the service issue, it is not going to be worth...
Read moreEDIT: *As of August 2022, I have to bring down my 5 star review to 3 stars. On our last two visits, the food has not been the same. I'm not sure if they changed cooks but the food is just not there anymore. On our last visit, both my wife and I ended up very gassy with some acid reflux. The side portions to put in the Pho was much smaller, which I had to request another for my wife. The Spring rolls were definitely not the same as before. I'm very disappointed as we thought we finally had a place to visit closer to us. I know the increasing costs of inventory affects businesses but it shouldn't affect the quality of your food. I owned a restaurant before and my auntie (restaurant owner as well) always told me, "if you have to cut corners, then don't offer it." So... to the business owners here, if you changed cooks, you might want to look into getting someone else or go back to how you cooked when you first opened. FINALLY!!!! An authentic Vietnamese restaurant that serves Pho just like the many places in GA we are used to. Been looking for a place that has Shrimp Spring Roll (not fried) with peanut sauce- YES! The Pho is on point. Though they only have one size, we're use to 3 different bowl sizes. Prices alittle higher than what we're used but don't have to go to GA for it anymore. Food is fresh and service is...
Read moreMy husband and I are huge connoisseurs of Pho. We have dined at every Pho restaurant in Lee, Charlotte, and Collier County. So we know our Pho. This place has the most authentic, and phenomenal (pho-nomenal hehe) fare that we have had to date. It truly felt like a whole cultural experience. They had dishes I had never seen at any other Vietnamese restaurant, and I can't wait to come back and explore more. We ordered the quail as an appetizer, as we had never seen it before, and it was perfect. I have no idea what the dipping sauce was made out of, but it was out of this world! I tried #23 Bun Bo Hue, and was blown away by the complex balance of flavors (highly recommend for Pho lovers looking to branch out). My husband had #11, and the broth was truly something! It was highly spiced, without running into the issue that most restaurants have with it being overly salted. Portion sizes were great. And just look at the veggies they give you on the side (pictured below)! They had lemon grass, Thai basil, cabbage, bean sprouts, and a few other delicious herbs I couldn't name. All super super fresh! Service was wonderful, and the waiter was extremely pleasant, and answered our (many) questions about the exotic-to-us menu.
Wish I could give it 10 stars. If you are in Lee County, this...
