We walked in (pardon the pun) with high hopes, ready to support a new local chain. The staff was very courteous and we were promptly seated. We chose to sit at the bar and we were cheerfully greeted by two different bartenders and immediately given our drafts that we ordered.
We chose the devil on a horseback shrimp with bacon and cream cheese appetizer, although the cream cheese was only there in theory. They were reasonably tasty but overly sugary so we decided to move on to the main courses. My friend grabbed The double bacon cheeseburger and I went with the Cajun pasta. The burger had a great presentation but we both noticed we were not given an option how the burger was cooked and it came out well done, no pink to be had. The main spice was salt, but to be fair it was seared correctly which was pleasant. The pasta really disappointed, because with Cajun pasta you expect some sort of spice and heat. On the bright side the shrimp was plentiful although the amount of crawfish seemed a bit lacking.
EDIT: we went back for a second try and it was an AMAZING experience! This time I did something I've never done before: order a ribeye and add a sports bar...pardon the sports pun but they knocked it out the park! The Crawfish cream sauce as a topper worked seamlessly with the broccoli that was cooked to absolute perfection. My partner had the blackened redfish tacos and was impressed with the flakiness and seasoning. Even the waffle fries were crisp on the outside with a nice meaty potato texture within.
Apparently a manager stepped in behind the bar and made our drinks to help keep the ticket count down And I'm glad she did because I experienced the BEST praline espresso martini I've had in my life! My date had the watermelon margarita which was tasty if a bit sweet. I would encourage the use of the watermelon puree they have on hand rather than the additional agave syrup but that's a minor quibble for something that was still overall quite refreshing.
Overall there is high potential and we want to keep supporting local, so I encourage continued patroning and giving the opportunity to succeed. I could also not articulate enough how authentically friendly the staff was, so as they fine-tune their menu I'm optimistic they will be able to spice...

We were driving down SW Pine Island Rd when we spotted Walk-On’s—the sports bar vibe pulled us right in. We were just craving classic bar food (burgers, mozz sticks, nothing fancy)… but what we got totally exceeded our expectations—in the best way.
Their menu centers around fresh seafood and authentic Louisiana-style Cajun cuisine—every single item sounded mouthwatering. We started with the mozzarella logs—they came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. For our entrée, we ordered the seafood poboy with boom boom shrimp. Now listen, we’ve had po’boys all over Cape Coral and Fort Myers—including the Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill—but this one? Hands down the FRESHEST we’ve ever had.
A huge shoutout to our server Kelsey M, who was upbeat, attentive, and kept the whole experience smooth and fun. She checked on us often, kept our drinks full, cleared dishes without us asking, and had a great attitude the entire time.
The inside has that cozy sports bar energy, but it’s done tastefully—not overwhelming like some other spots (i.e. Buffalo Wild Wings or Duffy’s). And I really appreciated their menu design: one single page, no stacks of drink menus, dessert books, or daily specials flying everywhere. Clean, simple, and easy to order from.
We're only about 3 miles away, and already planning our next visit to try more of the menu.
Only suggestion: As we were leaving, we noticed the manager sitting outside on the patio just scrolling his phone. With the place being fairly quiet for a Monday afternoon, it felt like a missed opportunity to check in with customers—especially as a new restaurant in a tough location where many others haven’t lasted. A quick “How’s everything tasting?” could go a long way in keeping this gem around.
Overall: Highly recommend! Great food, great service, and a refreshing twist on your typical sports bar. Cape Coral...
Read moreWalk On’s Cape Coral Stopped by on a Friday night about 6ish. This place was packed and going at full throttle. We seemed to get one of the last booths in the front area. This place has an open concept and is a tad bit noisy inside. They also have a large outside Patio Bar area with TV’s. I counted over 50 TV’s through out the dinning areas which all had some kind of Sports programming on them. It was very clean and neat for all the activity going on. Our waitress Maddison came over right away, introduced herself and took our drink ours. Once back she took our food orders. We ordered the 12-piece Wings for appetizers. I ordered the Bayou Pasta which consisted of Creamy Crawfish Linguine Topped with Blackened Jumbo Shrimp. My wife ordered the Mardi Gras Salmon which consisted of Hot Honey Glazed Grilled Salmon with Mango Salsa and Broccoli. Maddison ask if we wanted the Wings first, we stated yes. (I liked that as most places don’t ask) Our Wings came out fast for as busy as they were. The Wings were fantastic, they were big, juicy, and hot just the way we like them. Maddison stopped by to ask how they were and if we needed anything. Our main dishes came out in very reasonable time after that. My Bayou Pasta looked amazing, and it was. The Linguine was perfectly seasoned with a hit of heat and the Blackened Shrimp were done perfect. My wife’s Salmon was also very good done perfect and seasoned to perfection. Both our dished were hot and filled up our plates and well as our bellies. Maddison could not have treated us any better as she checked on us many times even though the place was packed. You must stop by and try this place for sure you will not be sorry. I give this place 5 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Follow Me On FB For More Reviews &...
