I keep trying to come here and expect a pleasant time. Unfortunately every time they never fail at making it a not so great time. One of the first times something went wrong I ordered a brownie sundae, these do not normally come with peanuts and I am allergic. Much to my surprise I found a little hidden present waiting for me at the bottom of the sunday. I ate it and proceeded to ha e stomach pains for the rest of the evening. This as anyone with an allergy knows does happen from time to time. So after that I took a break but then when I came back they stopped trying to kill me and just got my order wrong many times, that I can deal with. This time I could not take it any longer and broke down to writing a review. Something any frequent customer of the cape DQ knows is that they have decided to employ some of the most unsavory people even for food industry standards, worse than tacobell and that is saying something. I went to the restaurant and ordere . It took for ever, my fiance and I literally had time to have a full discussion about wedding planning before the icecream came out. The whole time we were waiting the burnett working the icecream machine was yelling at everyone. To her credit the blonde working with her looked slow as can be. All to say DQ I hope you overhaul this place and hire some humans that dont hate everyone. I like giving you my money but not when the people are unfriendly and cant make what i ask them to. Read moreCame on here to speak about the issue I encountered this afternoon. I see several 1star reviews that have clearly gone unattended. The worker who waited on myself, my two daughters and granddaughter could not have been more rude, arrogant, off putting or unprofessional. He literally rolled his eyes as I was counting out two dimes and three pennies to complete my payment. Then proceeded to snap at me saying "I didn't give you a number?" I said no you didn't. He then rudely stated I DID NOT GIVE YOU A NUMBER! He was rude to every customer who walked up to the counter. Placed 4 ice creams on the counter and did not bother yelling the number they were associated with so they could be retrieved. By the time they got theirs they were melted. Then proceeded to slam everything around while making the orders. If you don't want to work with the public, seek employment elsewhere! I will never enter this establishment again and highly recommend that you all stay clear from here as well. And Please admin of this page do not waste your time or mine sending me the generic automated "we are sorry, please give us another chance." Nor do I wish to be redirected to the sparingly handed out http that so few reviews receive. Read moreWent through the drive through and we ordered a chocolate cone and a chocolate shake. They handed the chocolate cone first, with the napkins all wrapped around the ice cream. This was the first sign of a complete let-down of an experience. Then they handed the "chocolate shake". I'm not sure how they could call it chocolate because the color was no different from the napkin wrapped around it. I complained and they said "they usually make customers pay more for extra chocolate"...to which I said I would understand but this shake can't even be considered chocolate in the first place when it's not even a shade off vanilla. The lady at the window rolled her eyes and said "she would have to get her managers approval". REALLY?? So they agreed to put more chocolate in...and when I get the shake back it has barely changed shades. They must have put just a drop in because it's only slightly darker than the napkin at this point. They said "I'm sorry that's all we could do".
So the moral of the story here is DON'T GO TO THIS DQ because they refuse to make a chocolate shake. They slop your napkins around the ice cream instead of the cone making a huge mess. And generally piss on the customer. This location is a disgrace to the DQ franchise and customer service...
