The best salsas! They even have two versions of the viral orange hot sauce from La Victoria Taqueria over the hill in SJ! (They don’t mention La Vic’s…I recognized the salsas and asked…and that is my opinion that two versions of their salsas are like La Vic’s orange sauce…you gotta try ‘‘em all (including La Vic’s) to decide for up yourself which is best! But anyway this place is delicious, fresh, clean and reasonably priced! Almost all the restaurants in the village are not reasonably priced. This place is! And it’s delicious! So glad I finally tried this. Oh and another great place with 6 fresh salsas is Salsa’s Taco bar in live oak! They have a HUGE menu so it is another delicious, frssh, amazing Mexican place in SC! My partner and I knew we didn't want the typical “hotel wedding food,” at our reception, especially for an outdoor California venue, so we checked out Mijo’s. We tried a bunch of tacos at their storefront and instantly knew they were the move—who doesn’t love tacos? We went with al pastor, steak, chicken, and a veggie option, plus rice and their salsas (so good!). On the day, everything was hot, fresh, and flying off the plates. It was a little different than the usual wedding spread and people freaking loved it—we kept hearing, “Best wedding food I’ve had.”

The team was awesome to work with—friendly, organized, and totally on top of it. Best deal in town for awesome street style tacos! These tasty tacos will never treat you wrong or make promises they can't keep! The spices they use will dance a beautiful routine on your taste buds with each bite and the only regret you will have is not buying more then 2 tacos! Order ahead and beat the line, get the 2 for 5 dollar deal!

One star short of 5 due to lack of napkins given and no dine in options (but I guess you can go eat by the beach). Also, the online ready time is not accurate and I highly recommend checking with them after 10mins. It told me my food would be 35mins before it was ready, but there was literally no line when I arrived just 10 min after ordering and my food was ready. Would have been a shame to eat these...
