Pizza Roulette anyone? Nope. Got 2 large pizzas for my daughters birthday party with a bunch of neighbors. All whom live close to Village Host pizza. The crust was thin and over cooked. Which is crazy because we watched them pull them out of the over. They didn't sit. The toppings were light and missing. They usually load up your pie with a healthy amount of toppings. Our triple P was Sad at best. I have bad experiences with consistency atthe aptos location but now that Capitola has the same issues I won't order again. Its like pizza Roulette 🍕 maybe your pizza will be good, or it may be garbage. I can't afford to play anymore. $36 for a si Glen triple P is more expensive than a pizza at the Shadowbrook restaurant on the river in a nice area. Village host is a parking lot. I'll take my business to a more consistent place that serves food worth ordering. I hate spending 70 on pizza and feeling like I got ripped off. Never again. Same with half my party guest. We live behind Nob hill. Id say 15 neighbors won't be back because these pies were so bad. Could have gotten frozen pies at nob hill and had better results. For real!

This was hands down the best pizza I've had in a long time! The crust is just the right crispiness, the toppings are plentiful and large, and the service was fantastic. The staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt in their service. The restaurant seating isn't lavish, but it's perfect for the type of food they serve. They have plates, utensils, napkins and condiments-a-plenty. You can get as much as you like, which I really appreciated. The only downside was the music. It wasn't to my liking, but it wasn't so loud that I couldn't just ignore it. But I'm old ,,(I'm Paul Rudd's age). I'm just visiting, but I wish I was staying longer so I could visit this place again and again!

We were passing through and split one small pepperoni pizza and a large salad with ranch. The pizza was delicious. The crust was not too thick or thin and a bit crispy. It also had a hint of some herb flavor that took it up a notch, the sauce was flavorful and the pepperoni really tasty. It seems that a lot of pizzas I’ve gotten lately are tasteless so I really enjoyed this one. Plenty of cheese too. The salad was plenty big for two people and very fresh. Ranch dressing was good too. Plenty of seating inside and a few seats outside. Clean bathroom. Nice shopping center. Easy on and off Highway 1 too. Glad we stopped by.

I love pizza. I’m a foodie. This is my favorite pizza.

I don’t really know what to call this kind of pizza. Maybe simply pan crust, or round-table style…. Or perhaps just “pizza”?

In any case, if you like this style of pizza (it’s my fave!) Village Host is the best.

The crust is amazing, wonderfully crispy, and, with plenty of corn meal (which I also enjoy) . It’s also a bit yeasty, in the best way.

They really have the whole pie dialed in, honestly.

My fiancé and I have been eating here pretty religiously since Covid. We’re probably averaging once every week and a half. The quality does not waver.

The staff and owner are all amazing too. They really care about their work, and seem to be a great team.

I’ve eaten at other Village Host pizzerias, and they are all fantastic, but this location is a cut above.

PS. If you like burgers, they make a great...
