Wingstop — Restaurant in Capitola

I was shopping around and saw that this Wingstop had opened up. I was hungry and decided to give it a shot. The cashier listed on the receipt is Evanny. She came to the cash register and proceeded to stare at me blankly without properly greeting me. She clearly wasn't going to say hi and ask how she could help me, so I had to do her job for her. I told her that I wanted an 8-piece cajun. Initially, I got no response. There was no, "I'm sorry, I need a second for the register to wake up," or anything of the sort. Eventually, she asks me for my order as if I didn't already tell her. I tell her my order again, it gets put in this time, I giver her my money, and then, perhaps not so surprisingly, she appears to struggle a bit counting my change. After I get my change, receipt, and fill my drink, I sit down.

Not long after I sit down, anew customer comes in and receives a proper greeting. Selectively greeting customers and choosing who you're welcoming to is unacceptable, especially in customer service. It takes far more effort to decide to be rude to customers than it does to just be nice to everyone.

I get my food after about 5 or so minutes. Evanny calls out the name for the order, but offers no "Thank you. Have a nice day! Enjoy!" or anything of the sort. To top it all off, the fries were practically cold and the wings were both soggy and of an inconsistently temperature. This wasn't after I got home either, it was when I got back to my car, which was no more than a minute walk. Suffice to say, I won't be going back, especially not when you consider the fact that the total was just under $18. Atrocious service and quality all around. Hace tiempo había dado una buena reseña sobre este lugar, fue desde que abrieron uno de mis lugares favoritos Pero ahora con la nueva administración el servicio es totalmente pésimo y muy pobre, la manager María que está ahí no sabe nada ella tiene que preguntar a los demás trabajadores y solo se la pasa maquillándose y peinándose, aunque eso es bueno para la imagen de wingstop, también es muy desagradable pues lo hace en plena cocina eso era evidente yo estaba enfrente de la registradora Deberían de poner a personas competentes o por lo menos que primero las entrenen Saben un poco más los empleados y cocineros También hay otra señora que está en la registradora, ella es cajera que solo se la pasa en el celular sacándose los mocos y picándose la nariz y rascándose el pelo fue bien desagradable el servicio no solo se equivocaron en mi orden tambien la manager no sabía nada de hacer las órdenes y estaba preguntando y diciendo que los demás trabajadores me respondieran y ellos estaban sobre ocupados y ella solo sentada acariciando a un señor mismo de los empleados se que es su vida personal y tienen derecho pero esa manager no tiene conocimiento en nada Debería de maquillarse fuera del lugar donde preparan comida y tener su vida sentimental un poco apartada del trabajo Todo en este restaurante a cambiado ya no...

This location Wingstop is the absolute worst. It's around 11:30AM upon their opening, on Monday October 7th, 2024. The employees are unprofessional and ghetto. They have outside conversations with each other instead of serving customers. When they do serve, they prioritize door dashers over in store customers. They made me wait over 20 minutes for my food and didn't have any sauces, so they made me wait an additional 10 minutes just to make ranch. Nothing was prepared. They did not warn me that the soda machine wasn't ready. I ended up getting splashed by the machine, due to missing nossles. The workers are rude. I asked them why my order took so long, and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. They acted confused. When they finally had the ranch ready they threw the container in the bag spilling ranch everywhere in my bag. Ranch was on everything and even got on my clothes. They never closed the ranch cup. Smh I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. This is unacceptable service and I want my money back. I will not be returning and I would not recommend this Wingstop location. The food came out gross, old, stale. The employer doesn't care, and the employees don't care....
