How does one put into words the most mind blowing delicious grilled cheese sandwich they have ever had? To say it was delicious wouldn't do it justice. The cheese literally stretched from the sandwich to my mouth like a commercial photo shoot. This isn't real life?! Today it was!! The perfectly sliced apple, paired with the most flavorful bacon, atop that insane cheddar was the over the top experience one rarely has with a sandwich on the run. This was without a doubt, the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Hands down. The only thing that could have made it any better was a little drizzle of their house made cherry jam. I couldn't stop myself once I drizzled a little of that on top!

The experience at Cheese Shop 831 is 5 star all the way! Jill and her team are so friendly and knowledgeable about all the cheeses and happy to talk you through just about any cheese experience you want to put together. Their ready to go packs and gift baskets are incredible gifts (my go to last Christmas!)! The entire shop is a delight to take in from the snacks to the beautiful custom cheese boards and the incredibly funny dish towels. There is something for every occasion and I absolutely love this shop! (And so did everyone who received a gift from me for Christmas!!) Great little shop with a wonderful atmosphere and the yummiest sandwiches. The rotating 2-sandwich menu makes it a perfect lunch stop if you have a partner to go with, since you can trade sandwich halves! The cheeses themselves come in an incredible variety for the store size, and the staff eagerly offers plenty of samples. The staff I find are also quite knowledgeable about the different cheeses and great both with recommending them as well as offering advice on what foods to pair any you buy with. The atmosphere is also just incredibly cute and friendly and the SMELL of the store is great. If you like cheese at all I think this place is a must-visit! Jillian created the most beautiful cheese “cake” for my wedding this past weekend! The cheese was incredibly delicious and it was a huge hit at our reception! We had our cake cutting moment with a triple cream at the top of the cake, and it was decorated beautifully.
