WOW!!!! I am not one that is impressed by most things so let me explain ....first I walk into this open layout ice cream store ( NOT JUST ICE CREAM)..and then I meet probably one of the most interesting fellows I have in a while behind the counter. To be clear I am one that asks questions about things I see, such as photos on the counter and on the wall (which by the way I highly recommend, one will find out some sad yet some enlightening information about the history of this unique location and even some of the treats they offer) to continue....the individual behind the counter was very willing to answer all my questions and even asked some of myself...we both judged each other at face value and were both not expecting the outcome of our questioning. Again I encourage you to ask people questions you may be surprised. The variety of flavors of both ice cream and edible cookie dough were many and unique...once ordered got 4 scoops of cookie dough to try a variety of flavors and WOW talk about scoops he definitely did not skimp on volume. Then the next thing was one has to decide where to sit...you have multiple tables but not just tables these tables have games etched into them such as checkers, chess, Chinese checkers (which is where I sat and enjoyed a game while consuming about half of our order) . There is also a place you and your equal can go and take your photo as a pair of ice cream cones to rember this sweet treat of a place. Ohhh yeah at least when we were there the music in the background was doowoop (I believe that's the spelling) which made you feel like you were in a ice cream parlor of the good ole days.... Highly recommend this diamond in the rough...but as always I am just one person seeing and sharing my experience, the whole point in me doing this is to encourage you to get off the very device your reading this review of mine off of and get out there leave your couch, and meet ohh I don't know someone who raises cattle that in no way looks like the stereotype...
Read moreGreat service, caring employees. Sampled a cookie dough my wife and I didn't love so we each got a scoop of two different flavors. Scoop/quantity was quite large for one scoop and the flavors of both were okay. I was hoping the thin mint was more minty. It took awhile to consume, actually I took mine home with me, my wife finished her scoop after awhile. Very unique desert and I don't think either of us could get over the sugary/gritty taste while eating it, not our favorite. Both of us stated we likely won't other the cookie dough again and we should have ordered ice cream. But really nice place, thankful we visited/tried it out while we were in Carlisle! We also each got a piece of cake to go, I got a oreo cheesecake and she picked a peanut butter cup pie. Both again look delicious, but very sugary. I enjoyed my cheesecake more than the edible...
Read moreWe are visiting from Kentucky and stumbled upon this place. I was SO excited to find out they have vegan options available!!!! Unfortunately, they were out of the vegan dough but there was icecream! There was also a huge selection of icecream and cookie dough for my family to choose from. Sammy was the name of staff member that helped us and I’ve never met a more kind person. I called ahead of time and he was so great on the phone and in person. The world needs more workers like him! Even as I was leaving my family mentioned how great he was. Next time we come up, we will absolutely...
