Round-A-Bout Bagels Cat Cafe — Restaurant in Carlisle

My family and I visited on a Saturday and had a great time. The staff were very friendly and personable. We made a reservation in advance and good thing we did because it got busy. We got a complimentary drink with our visit, and the teas we had were all good. There were 6 cats at the cafe when we visited and they were all friendly. The area for the cats is very spacious and included many places for them to hide, climb and sleep. The staff mentioned that a seventh cat will be introduced to the cafe the following week, which is good because I would have loved to interact with more cats! Overall, we had a really good time at the cafe. Our only negative is the entryway. It is very small, and when we were trying to leave we had to wait a few minutes for people to enter and clear out before we could exit. I think this area needs to be redesigned to include more space so there is a better flow for visitors to come and go. Hopefully next time we visit this will...

This cafe experience has left more to be desired, that's for sure. The kitties within the establishment are very cute, sweet, and delightful to be around as well as the staff. However, the business itself seems to lack respect for the local artists in the area as it has AI art plastered all over the walls. Detrimentally disappointing to see such a thing. AI is incredibly harmful to the art industry and seeing a local business use it is heartbreaking, and frankly, a bit insulting. The cafe isn't very accessible to those who are disabled, either; the second door into the building lacks a handle and it’s a struggle to even get into the place. I worry the cats may get caught in that swinging door if someone wasn't paying attention. The cafe is dull and almost visually depressing outside of the drawings made by other customers. Such a cute place! I’m so glad one opened near by. They provide some complimentary drinks as well. The place didn’t smell too bad considering you’re around all these cats. The cats were cute and friendly. Would like to see some young adults cats come through too for adoption. It didn’t seem busy when we came but you may want to reserve just incase. Will definitely be back as the price was very reasonable.
