The Vault CB — Restaurant in Carolina Beach

I went on Sunday, between 10 am and 11 am. The women behind the counter were busting their butts making coffees and drinks, all while being kind to everyone. While I was waiting on my coffee I sat down and saw an older gentleman (I say older not as a slight, but because the women were very young appearing, maybe college aged, and he was more distinguished) walk in, and into the kitchen. The women were trying to talk to him (even though they were busy!!!) and he just walked past them and into the back room area. That left them all with this rejected look like "what did I do now?" and it just made me upset. Those women are working hard as they can and he just acting like they ain't even worth acknowledging, and he just came in there being all ill when things were going well. What the world is the point in acting like that? Even if they really messed up they are still human beings making you money (I'm assuming him to be a manager or owner)! Those women should just go start their own business. I say all of this not knowing the full story, but it was just not sitting well with me. Maybe he has a lot going on, I don't know, I just know it seemed...

I go thru the drive thru and order an iced sf white mocha latte with almond milk, I leave, taste it and it's terrible, basically taste like water with lots of syrup! I go back after my Publix trip 10 mins, after taking only the one sip, this time I go inside and politely ask if I could get this replaced with just a iced vanilla latte w/ almond milk, the taller young lady said sure and the shorter one was quite snotty and proceeded to say "when you use almond milk it will be more watery" I wanted to say honey I've been drinking almond lattes since you were knee high to a grasshopper, but instead I simply said yes I understand but this more watery than usual and literally taste like their is NO espresso..and taste like pure watery syrup, she didn't apologize, gave a look, and quite frankly wasn't kind. She looked away and the taller young lady took care of me.. the 2nd time wasn't any better! So I went to Malama and ordered the exact same thing and as you can see by the photo that it is not watered down nor too sweet or syrupy w/ almond milk. ! It was not a good experience and...

You would think after all the "rude staff" complaints something would be done? I went in today for a cup of coffee they were closed (the coffee part anyway) I didn't know because this was only my second time there. The bartender was absolutely amazing and offered to do a iced coffee so I took her up on her offer but then the lady running the coffee side was not!! Any question i had it was a rude remark. The bartender kept saying she would make the coffee and the barista refused and had the nerve to say to the bartender "if you continue to take orders after closing this will continue to happen" like if it was that big of a deal refund me and go about your day. She also said to the bartender not the customer that she wasn't trying to be rude but she had to get home to her soccer party like go then nobody was holding you there. You being loud, rude, & obnoxious just showed the kind of person you are. Please get out of customer service you are not for it.
