Read moreI love specialty coffee and used to work in the industry. The cafe decor and atmosphere were energetic yet cozy. The barista was very friendly as well, even when there was a long line. I usually opt for a black coffee if the shop roasts their beans but I wanted to do something fun so I got the coquito latte. It was sweet but not overly sweet and had a nice balance. When I'm ordering coffee I actually like to taste my coffee lol I also had a chicken empanada. With my latte I had the rum infused beans which definitely added to the coquito flavors. I ended up buying a 9oz bag at a hefty $45, which again, in specialty coffee, isn't uncommon but let me tell you, it was totally worth it. I made pour overs via Chemex at home and WOW! Definitely one of my favorite beans so far. Had I not bought the beans the total $ would be around $10-$20. Parking is also limited if you're driving. Overally, loved the cafe, loved the drinks and food, loved the beans. Side note* Its a Queer friendly space 🌈 10/10...

You'll find most people walking out of the shop with iced lattes in bags (instead of cups). Dulce de leche, horchata, tres leches, or coquito were the options. Each of them were solid, if you like your coffee/lattes sweet.
If you're looking for something a bit more straight-forward (and still iced), the Classic Cold Brew is solid option. It is pretty mild, and enjoyable to drink.
The espresso, by itself, was also pretty decent. The shot wasn't bitter with only a slight sourness to it. That sourness, though, faded as the shot cooled.
If you're looking for something other than a Latte, Cold Brew, or Espresso shot, they also had a pour over, matcha, and hot chocolate on the menu. Some interesting infusion modifiers, as well.
All-in-all, this place filled the coffee void...
