This place has aaaaahhhhhhaaaamazing food and so reasonably priced! But not just that the owner Michelle is the gem of a person, we were visiting Puerto Rico from Indiana and right before we were go to airport we made our stop at this place to eat.we requested for food to be served fast as we had to take a flight. The food for chef kisses so delicious .After our meal we were rushing and accidentally locked our car keys inside our car. We literally had nothing on us not even phone or wallet. When we asked for help to Michelle ( the sweetest lady ever) she went above and beyond to help us ! While we were sitting tensed she quickly made her way to kitchen to squeeze out fresh lemon and ginger juice to comfort us. Not just that, she called the roadside help from her phone and made several calls to help us in this situation.we weren't carrying cash after we got our car unlocked( mind you this was done in record time of 15mins , she called her local guy to help unlock the car) we didn't have cash to give the guy. She ran to her cash counter to give us some cash while we paid her with our credit card to the restaurant bill! I was not expecting someone helping a stranger like this. Really...
Read moreWent to this restaurant the first day we came into San Juan. The drinks here are amazing you can't beat them had me a little tipsy after a few rounds. The food however is why the low review. We end up ordering as a group and it took about an hour to 2 hours for all of our food to come out. One guest of ours got tacos and I guess they ran out of meat and so they tried to stretch the meat in his tacos to cover all three when it was only enough for maybe one and a half. If you only had enough for one and a half don't try to put it into three because that's a little obvious and insane. Food and a service were slow, didn't really understand English or Spanish so the breakdown was very hard in this restaurant. Definitely would not recommend, but not the worst place as well. If you are visiting just be prepared for slow service and don't go perhaps after night if there are closing soon cuz you may run out of...
Read moreLas Nanitas Cantina is a true gem in Puerto Rico, and was our lucky first restaurant to visit! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and vibrant energy, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The queso fundido was absolutely divine—oozing with cheesy goodness and the perfect hint of spice, it was an appetizer we couldn't stop devouring. The nanaritas were equally spectacular, a refreshing blend of flavors that complemented the meal perfectly. But the real star of the night was the enchiladas—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
A special shoutout to Luciano, whose service was beyond exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel at home. His genuine kindness and knowledge of the menu elevated the entire experience. Las Nanitas Cantina is a must-visit for anyone in search of authentic flavors and...
