We we're visiting family and decided to stroll down to Linden and Carpinteria, what my Grandpa used to call "glitter gulch" to check out the nightlife. Not many bars on the gulch, but two breweries in the vicinity and plenty of restaurants. We were very happy with the Brew & Cue. It is a clean and friendly pub, locals playing pool and darts and ready for casual conversation. Sports on the tele. Good mix of folks just chilling out and being cool to each other. Played some good tunes from Mexico while we there among other music, and there is positive multicultural vibration. The owners and bartender we're very nice, smokers in the parking lot friendly to out of towners. Next time we are in town from Idaho, we will return for sure. Great hospitality and local flavor.
