butter'dudder Premium Ice Cream — Restaurant in Carrollton

My family and I stopped in tonight for some ice cream and granted it was close to closing and the line was to the door. While standing there we noticed someone we knew (family friend) outside and stepped out and said hello for a moment because the line was long and knew we would only be a moment. We walked back in and got back in line and at this point the line was still to the door and it just turned 9. It didn’t seem like it would be an issue and after standing there for a few moments one of the workers stated “excuse me, we are now closed” (only talking to us which prompted everyone to turn and look at us) and before I could say anything she added with what looked like annoyance because maybe she realized how “off putting” that was and said “Well.. as long as you know what you want then I can make it”. We just turned around and left because it didn’t really feel like a welcoming environment at that point. I mean, we were in line and stepped outside for just two minutes and made sure to be back in line at 9..not 9:05, 9:10.. but 9 and the line was to the door… honestly, I don’t feel like that should of been an issue or as...

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Butter’dudder yesterday while picking up a DoorDash order. My boyfriend and I stood by the DoorDash sign, clearly waiting, but two employees blatantly ignored us. They continued to take other orders, including from customers who arrived after us, as if we weren’t even there. After being overlooked multiple times, I finally had to stop one of the employees and say, ‘HELLO, I’M HERE FOR DOORDASH.’ He responded with an attitude, asked for the name, and handed over the order, which had been sitting prepared in the freezer.

The lack of acknowledgment and poor customer service was shocking, especially since I was considering buying my favorite ice cream, the Vietnamese Coffee Oreo flavor, but this experience completely changed my mind. I’m deeply upset and won’t be returning. Butter’dudder needs to address how their staff handles DoorDash pickups, as customers should never be made to feel invisible...

I absolutely love this Ice Cream shop! I frequented this establishment at least once a week sometimes twice because it is soo good! Unfortunately, I was at the Bremen location Tuesday and ordered my favorite which is butter pecan, to my surprise it was nothing like what I have been used to getting at Butter'dudder. It tasted like vanilla ice cream and it had absolutely NO pecans in it at all. I was very disappointed and will probably not return for a while. I am a dedicated customer, but when the product declines, I will step back. I have NEVER had any complaints about this place since I tasted a sample from the truck that came to the school I teach at. I am so disappointed with my last visit. Another thing, the workers are always very friendly and very polite on each visit and that is another reason I patronize this...
