Store Manager or Owner please contact me! My wife and I just have had a happy lunch in Haidilao, Dallas(very full stomach. )And want to have a easy dinner, which I read reviews this store has great small dish, so we came want to order an soup or cold noodle. The Serving Lady I did not know her name, first talked to us the kitchen was almost close( she mentioned 8:45pm), let us quick order(We arrived 8:25pm) I understand, I did service not only restaurant but also Uber, I understand she want to finish register and something, even she asked me order food twice in two minutes, I can tolerate, I also explained to my wife some restaurant need register early. but things got super non- understandably when we said,” could you give us an cold noodle .” She replied as an angry bird, :” Oh my God, you only want one single noodle??!! I was shocked why she get so mad and pushing us order more? I mean, she have not meet some clients not very hungry ? My wife at this pointed got unhappy and Affected appetite, I was shocked but still don’t want this service feel us Asian clients are stingy, which two person come order one dish, and she maybe think us as some people come keep asking free more small disc, I know some people did that, so I order one more food. If the service end from here, We still can leave with ok feeling because we both think the restaurant food is match us type, which is nice . But things went worse. The server even stare at my wife sideways, and when we still eating, she came and give an check, said, “ pay first. “ one lesson which I regret not to teach her straight is our eastern people, eastern cultures is about how to deal with people nicely and compassionately. And Serve please, even you are tired, the restaurant is a business relayed on you guys! The Owner or the manager from this restaurant, please read my reviews, and think about why your restaurant get only low scores and the business might not be well? We still tolerated at this point, when it was the time about tips, she kept say sorry and let us next time come early( we both have nothing to say and never one yelled to this lady) but my wife was very angry and said to me low voice which she don’t want to give any tips. I low voice talked to her let me handle this, and I tried to see this service lady attitude again. After she give us check change, she standing there never walked away, I said I would like to pay tips later after us eating, but she keep not walk away and use fingers to point the suggestion tips(18%) to hint us give at least that much, it’s around 6.8$ I know my wife is angry and I also don’t want the whole restaurant Awkward which I left 5.25$ to her to hint her back that we are not happy about her, and she left us an sentence, “ oh! You only give this much ! “ Now is my omg time, I have never seen an restaurant serve like this! Never in Eastern or Western! I don’t think she is the owner of this restaurant. At this point I think my wife is right, she don’t deserve 1% of tip! My wife, she just gave Haidilao hot pot, in Dallas lunch good service 70$ tips! ( we ate 90$)I don’t know if it was because today is raining ? or some Asian guy piss her off many times before? Why bully and racial our Asian? Lady, you are Asian ! The owner or Manager of this restaurant, please contact me and apologize...
Read moreThis place had good and clean atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive.
Here’s the problem: The food was terrible. We got the seafood tofu soup (해물 순두부), spicy beef soup (육개장), and spicy cold noodles (비빔냉면).
The seafood tofu soup was so bland. It definitely needed salt. Like lots of it. Usually the salty soup balances out the tofu but this was bland throughout. The kimchi and the fish I had on the side (which was good) saved it. Hardly any seafood in the dish too. One shrimp, one or two clams and little tiny squid. Did not play a part in making the dish better. Also the rice that they give you on the side is not as fancy as they say. Go to BCD for this price point. It’s 10x better.
The spicy beef soup was good. Not great, not bad. Good. It had more flavor than the tofu soup and that’s saying something since this restaurant prides itself as a tofu soup specialty restaurant.
The spicy cold noodles sauce was terrible. It tasted worse than a store bought premade product. Go across the street to Dami for this dish.
Banchan (side dishes) were good. Nothing special. They did have lots of options but again nothing stood out.
It’s hard times and I understand it’s a lot to keep your doors opened. But the quality of your menu should not fluctuate especially if you raise your prices by 10%. The whole point of the restaurant is to have a tastier version of the food you could make at home but you won’t/can’t. The convenience part also plays but not very applicable in todays times.
I’d love for this place to become better. It has potential. The interior design is great and you get a sense of cleanliness at the restaurant. The staff were very well trained and I give them high marks. However the food needs...

Just a normal authentic Korean restaurant vibe! 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. •••• Overall Rating: 9/10 It’s been awhile since I have had some good Korean food and this definitely hit the spot! Raw marinated crab has gone viral on Tik Tok within the last year and I’ve finally tried it. I will say the flavor was great, however, the concept was just a little off putting to me and I don’t think I’d try it again. Yes I eat raw sushi but it was a little bit different bc I don’t think raw crab can be flash cured of parasites? I’m not sure but I’m just saying try at your own risk 😭 It was good to experience, but wouldn’t get it again I think. The spicy seafood tofu soup omg!!! So delicious and flavorful. I highly recommend trying it. It came with a side of rice in a hot pot that crisped it at the bottom. SO good. The side dishes were okay if you’re into that but I don’t really mind if a place has good or bad side dishes lol. The buckwheat noodles with spicy sauce was cold noodle dish that I know some people love. Personally, I did really like this but I think I prefer hot noodles. Don’t get me wrong though, if you want to try cold icy noodles this one was a good one compared to one I’ve had in the past! Overall, our experience was great and I’d definitely come back for this soup and...
