Everything Madeleine — Restaurant in Carrollton

My fiancé and I fought for the last bite of the double vanilla madeleine!

We went on a spontaneous late afternoon walk over to Everything Madeleine after seeing that it had recently opened in our neighborhood. We walked over to find the doors locked, but were pleasantly surprised to see someone rushing over to unlock the doors! They had already been closed for 30 minutes and were kind enough to open back up just for my fiancé and I!

The interior was adorably decorated with otters designed by the owner, cute graphics with otter puns, cozy wood details, and beautifully decorated pastry displays.

The owner was so sweet and took the time to chat and serve us after hours. There were three flavors left at the end of their day and we elected to take home one of each and two free cold brews! Free cold brews in exchange for a review!? Gladly! It is my pleasure to write this review as we inhale the Madeleines.

We foolishly stated before opening the bag of Madeleines that we would have to store whatever we don't finish because we couldn't possibly eat all three.

We left no crumbs.

The black sesame Madeleine was deliciously nutty and so moist and paired nicely with the cold brew.

The cappuccino was moist, spongy and had just the right amount of sweetness. So satisfying followed by a sip of the brew.

And then there was the double vanilla. The first bite evoked a bug-eyed response followed by a guteral tight lipped "Mmmmm!!!!!" and a lick of the lips. Scrumptious and delicate! And then the third bite, the third bite had vanilla cream filling!! Are you kitten me!?! YUMM-EE!!!! Before that very moment in time, the sesame madeleine was winning the race, but the vanilla, oh my goodness, the vanilla cream just stole the win.

We finished the vanilla, then the black sesame, then the cappuccino.

All three were enjoyable. We didn't expect to eat all three so quickly, but it was hard to put them down! They were so good!

We would have gone back just based on the service alone. The owner and the gentleman that opened the shop back up for us were so kind and genuine that we could have stayed just to hangout. I will be returning just for the atmosphere, the service, and the delicious and beautifully decorated treats!

The owner informed us that the pastries and flavors will be rotated on a weekly basis and that they opened around four weeks ago. How exciting, and I can't wait to see what flavors are to come and give them a try!

I am so happy that Everything Madeleine has brought adorable and delicious French-Asian inspired pastries to Old Downtown Carrollton! Her business adds another layer of charm to the neighborhood!

They just opened up a new shop. It's really nice and trendy. Super clean and the wife couldn't stop taking pictures of everything! I'm always too busy stuffing my face!

The madeleines and desserts here are amazing! They even have TikTok trendy desserts like flat croissants! Get them before they run out though! They do run out, so get there early and enjoy yourselves!

They are named after the owner's love of madeleines. They have only gotten better and the flavors have continued to grow and get better and better. Super moist and dense at the same time. The little bear madeleines and caneles are amazing as well. Sarah will be making my wedding cake. We will be having a madeleine tower as well. They look fantastic! Super pretty eye-catching! She really can do it all. My favorite is the black sesame. I always eat there and take some to go.

Such a lovely pastry shop to stop by in the mornings! You can tell how much intention and thought was put into the menu, packaging, and overall experience. The interior is so cozy and welcoming with all the otter and art decor. We picked out a variety of madelines, all of which were so yummy and balanced in flavor and texture (not too sweet, which is my preference for pastries!) I especially enjoyed the more unique ones, like the earl grey and black sesame. These were amazing with the drinks offered too. We had the matcha cream latte, which was the best I’ve ever had as it’s just sweet enough to still have a strong matcha flavor (something hard to find at other cafes!) I also enjoyed the steeped Marco Polo tea, which was perfectly light and refreshing. Overall, such a gem of a spot to visit and order from
