Stepping into Pour Choices in Carrollton felt instantly like coming home. There's a genuine "Cheers" like feeling, with a friendly atmosphere and many regulars who make it an inviting place to hang out. Meeting the ownership team, whose dedication and thoughtfulness translate into the experience, was a pleasure.
What truly sets it apart for me is the exceptional food, which is based on the thoughtful approach of the management team. Finding a bar and grill with such a TON of well-executed vegetarian and vegan options is refreshing and unique. As someone who requires diverse dietary accommodations, Pour Choices is an absolute gem. The staff are knowledgeable and adept at accommodating all diets, which is a plus and opens this fantastic spot up to everyone.
The vegetarian and vegan offerings go far beyond token items. I was impressed by the vegetarian Philly cheesesteak – a truly "yum" moment that delivered on flavor and satisfaction. The flatbread pizza was generously loaded with toppings. And you absolutely cannot skip the pretzel with queso; it's a delicious and comforting classic done right. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their menu including a number of new additions to the Chick'n wing section.
Beyond the food, the bar has a top-shelf selection of tequila, scotch, and whiskey - they take their spirits seriously.
Don't overlook this spot as a future hangout. It's a rare find that successfully combines the best aspects of a neighborhood bar with impressive culinary food. Highly recommend and will...
Read more05/0/24. We came back for a quick bite to eat and a margarita. After all it's Cinco de Mayo! We absolutely adored the Philly cheese steak we ordered! It might be the best in the downtown Carrollton area. Whatever you are you doing in the kitchen, please keep doing it! Thank you for the fast and attentive staff for making our experience a good one!
1/25/23: We attended their Grand Opening/ Ribbon cutting. In a very short time, Angie and staff have built a nice community. The Mayor, City Council, local business leaders, plus their regular crowd.....started the night right.
older post: This was our 1st visit. The inside is beautiful, clean, and well designed. The owner said she wanted a cozy place to relax. I think, mission accomplished. I like the multiple TV screens and feel of the place. The owner is quite hospitable and is easy to order from. She has 2 decades of experience in the business. Since it was dinner time, we ordered. Served in minutes, I had a delicious Burger and my wife enjoyed a Chicken Caprese sandwich. The fries were fresh cut as the home made chips. Some local VIP'S recommended the Fried Avocado. As for drinks, we didn't drink this visit. Next time, I'll get the appetizers and have a few to toast to their new opening. Downtown Carrollton needs a nice cozy place to relax. This is it! This place is not too big, but is big enough. *Come see Angie, the owner. She'll make the visit "the best" part of your day.

Read moreAs a Navy Combat Disable Veteran, I would say that the bartender was rude and a few too many self drinks or maybe doesnt like people or veterans. All the other patrons were tracking what I was saying in my introduction. I hadn't purchased a beer and i could tell it hurt her feelings after telling me i hadn't yet asked for the types of flavored ethyl alcohol in a tone anyone would recognize. I came in after being asked by a someone on a bench that asked for food, I was waiting for the American Legion to open and wanted a place to cool down. Grace, I just want to tell you to your boss, that you were not listening to me and i will not apologize for upsetting your routine in ordering drinks. I came there for social interaction not closed minded nepotism. I agree it was a poor choice of an establishment. The legion and 3 nations are right around the corner. Thanks for helping me when I was vulnerable in a way that makes me regret the honor of fighting for you and your establishment, sincerely. Its been a learning...
