Fuzzy's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Carrollton

I visit this restaurant at least once a week and usually 2-3 times a week. I visit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I live for their nachos, quesadillas, breakfast burritos, and their shrimp or fish tacos. They are all amazing! I really love this place. The food is always top notch and there is plenty of it on your plate. I'm a big man and I always have leftovers to take home. This place is super clean! I've never had dirty utensils. I've yet to sit down at a sticky or dirty table. The staff here really stays on top of cleaning the tables and booths. The soda machine is never nasty or dirty either. Super clean all the time. The management is always super nice and really patient when I'm ordering. I've never had a bad experience with anyone from the cashiers, cooks, or management. The patio is spacious also. There is plenty of seating inside and out so you never have to worry about having other patrons being in your area. Great place to have a relaxing meal. I've never stood in line for more than a couple minutes. They have a constant flow of people but I've never seen it crowded. I also notice frequently people I've seen there on past trips and it's a definite "go to" spot for people that live near here. Plus they have Pac man and Galaga on one video game and Golden Tee Golf. I had given this place 5 star review but I do have to change it to 1.

I do want to say I contacted the restaurant and they were polite and apologetic. I was offered a manager, but I do not want a free apology meal or a refund. What I want is this restaurant to understand that during these times where we can not just send our plate back because were ordering delivery, the following is one of the reasons you might look around one day and wonder where your customers went.

Overall the taste was good. The problem is the amount for the price. I spent over 90 dollars ordering for my family, not including tip and received a taco shrimp platter with less than a tablespoon of rice and beans. The burritos were disturbingly small. Tacos with the shell stale and un-toasted. Again, the food tasted good but the price. I've had school lunch ladys give bigger portions.

I feel very ripped off. For the money I was charged I could have had Popadeau or Uncle Julio's and had a huge meal. My family of 5 will never order another meal from you. in a time where restaurants are asking for support, I am shocked that you would provide such a service.

I knew it was a reason Why I STOPPED dining at Fuzzy's Taco Shop. I walked in only to kill time, while waiting for my daughter to complete a transaction at this kids store in the same plaza ( you get monies from trading in new and used kid's clothing, toys, furniture etc).

So we wanted some chips, and Queso just to tie us over until dinner. Of course it had been over a month since I had a frozen margarita. The gentleman behind the register was nice, and energetic. I ordered a Peach flavored margarita I think, with Queso, and chips. The chips weren't hot nor fresh, and my $11 Frozen Margarita tasted like a half frozen watered down slushed water drink. Fuzzies y'all need to STOP charging folk any thing over $5 for the types of alcohol that y'all are promoting in those machines. I'll never go back to another Fuzzies again. Now I remember Why I stopped cold turkey and haven't been to a Fuzzy's Taco Shop in almost a year if not longer.
