I have severe anxiety and depression. Typically I can control them I’ve spent years learning how without meds as the side efffets were worse than the disease itself. Yesterday was one of the worse days I’ve had. I honestly don’t recall a low this bad where I could not stop the tears. It was just overwhelming darkness and fear. My husband took me out to our favorite noodle shop in an attempt to help redirect my mind. It helped for a moment he was talking to me asking what i wanted to do as he played on his phone. What I thought he was doing was playing a game but he was actually googling anyway to help me he could find. He found this place. I was there about an hour receiving treatment. While there i felt relaxed for the first time in weeks. We left went home and on the way i threw up and was in sudden pain from the muscles letting go of the tension they had been carrying for so long. We got home and I crawled in bed feeling horrible. I slept for the first time in weeks; the last few days i hadn’t slept more than a few hours. I slept 13 hours and woke up to feeling normal; whatever that is. There is no dark gloom hovering in my mind. My head and heart are clear and I have no way to show my gratitude for the wonders this place has given. I have peace this morning and I find there is no better way to say thank you than tell others of the great experience. It’s not a fancy place the doctor was kind and attentive but most of all he helped me so much. This is about 50 miles from our home but we will be back often to help manage my anxiety and depression. I have been coming to HS Acupuncture for several years now. The thing that has kept me coming back is that, any and every time I go in with an ache or pain by the time I walk out it is GONE! Considering the fact that over the years I have gotten to know the Dr. it surprised me to find out that he is a 6th generation Acupuncturist. I can not say enough good things about his establishment yet I can say this, the lower back pain that I had was so bad it was to the point I could not bend with my arms forward past my knees.
